Hello, my lovely friends. Hope you had a wonderful, joyful Easter weekend.
We went away to Kelowna to spend Easter with my parents, which was great, but too short.
I always love to record beautiful nature while driving to Kelowna or anywhere in British Columbia, because of the gorgeous mountains, rivers, and farmland and this time was no different, except I didn't get to record a lot of my favorite places since I was the one driving most of the time during this trip, so you will see only a few clips from Abbotsford and Chilliwack farms and a bit of Keremeos farms and fruit stands and on the way back I got to record some beautiful nature too, but only for a bit.
Hope you will enjoy the video of us driving to Kelowna and the farmland of Chilliwack which was all flooded last fall, so this was our first time driving through here since the flood, which was terrible and you could not drive through here. Vancouver area was isolated from the whole Canada.

So I didn't know what to expect while driving through here. To tell you the truth I thought that most of the farms would be still in terrible shape and some even abandoned because of the huge damages etc, but it was so good to see all the farms back in business.
The Keremeos Market/Fruit Stands were pretty much all closed because it's not in season yet, but there were a few that were opened, where you could buy some honey and all the other goodies.
This place is so busy during the summer months. There are quite a few fruit stands and they are all super busy. Every time we drive by here, we would always buy some fresh fruits and veggies.
On the way back to Vancouver, we stopped by one of our favorite places to buy some fresh eggs from a lady who sells them from her home. Her chickens are free-range chickens that are not locked inside cages but run freely on the land. We used to always buy eggs from this lady when we lived in Penticton. I will share that in one of my other posts.
I always get so excited, especially during the summer months for the travel/trip or even just a drive where I can just admire the beauty of nature and so I just wanted to share it with you guys.
Have a wonderful week everyone. Tomorrow is my first day at my new job, so I need to prepare for it, since I need to learn a new program, and so wish me luck.
Love @joalvarez
