(Caiman crocodilus), also known as babilla or baba, is a species of carnivorous reptile that inhabits different types of freshwater courses, swamps, lakes, and swamps in southern Mexico, Central America, and northwest South America
Alligators, these alligators that I photographed in the Zoo, as you can see in the photos, are not in their natural habitat. Almost every time I see them, they are sleeping on the ground. Sometimes I see them in the water, but since they are reptiles, they must be warmed by the sun. These alligators are close cousins of crocodiles, which are larger and these animals, as reptiles, need the sun since they are cold-blooded and need to regulate heat.
They lay eggs like all reptiles and birds and are like living dinosaurs since they have managed to survive extinctions that the planet has had during the geological periods that planet Earth has had and the changes in the ecosystem. For millions of years they have been Twelve adapt to changes and have overcome them. You have been before us and I believe they are safe as true survivors of extinctions on Earth.
In the park they are fed raw chickens, in their natural environment they hunt fish, amphibians, and some mammals, they are good swimmers, and they can submerge underwater for a long time since they have adapted to the aquatic environment, they have a predator that hunts them and is the jaguar, that's why when they see one, the alligators run away since the jaguar is their natural predator.
Thanks for Reading I hope you like it and learn more about Those Reptiles Babas, Cocodrilus, and Caiman.
