I had to travel about 30 minutes by motorbike to arrive at a forest area that was full of tranquility and far from noise even though this forest was not too far from residential areas. When we arrived in this area we were greeted by a lake, namely Situ Gede, because this forest is located on the edge of a lake which the local people call Situ. Situ Gede means wide lake.
I entered this forest area via the edge of the lake. Plastic mats are available in the Dramaga forest. Because this forest is not a wilderness. This is a tourist forest as well as a research forest. Even in this forest there is a CIPOR (Center for International Forestry Research) office. The part of the Dramaga forest which is located on the edge of the lake or Situ Gede is a tourist area which local residents use as an area for selling various foods (culinary) to visitors. The stretch of plastic mats is a place for visitors to relax, enjoy the tranquility of the forest and enjoy food or snacks.
The large trees in the Dramaga forest make this forest area so lush that it can create inner peace for visitors. Below are some photos that I can share with friends about this cool Dramaga forest area.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by this post. Hopefully this post is useful and can provide information about the beauty of the Dramaga forest, Bogor, West Java- Indonesia.
This seems like a very peaceful and relaxing area. I envy your tree sizes. For some reason I have not seen many trees this tall in the states. Then again I have not been able to visit many natural places like this.
Thank you for visiting my blog, I hope these photos are enjoyable
