Blooming flowers in the middle of winter are not uncommon in cities of Hungary. So far, I’ve only seen buttercups, snowdrops, violets,pansies and winter jasmine blooming in winter, but never hellebore yet. These plants on the pictures bellow were probably brought from the North-East of Hungary. So far, I’ve only seen this kind of hellebore in the Bükk Mountains, which is a protected plant there. Anyway, a close relative of peony (Pentecost Rose)!
I had a really beautiful sunny day. How can it be better? And what else is possible?
