“Snow Shadows”
Today was very cold but beautiful day. The temperature was -10C to -17C so, everything was covered with solid snow and the air was freezing. I love to take photos of a very cold sunny day, especially after a storm.
The shadows on the thick snow are such beautiful things. We are still isolated by the thick snow until the snowplow truck comes to clear this thick snow for us later. Sometimes I feel protected by this thick snow. Of course, we should have enough food and energy sources for living though.
“雪の影”
今日はものすごく寒いですがきれいな日でした。気温は氷点下１０〜１７度位なので、全てが硬い雪におおわれていて、空気は凍りつくような冷たさです。吹雪の次の日の晴れた日に写真を撮るのが好きです。
分厚く積もった雪の上に映る影はとても美しいです。除雪機が来てくれるまで、私道が雪に埋もれたままです。外の世界と遮断された感じが雪に守られているような感覚で、けっこう好きです。もちろん十分な食料と燃料があってこそ言えることなのですが。

木の影が分厚く積もった雪の上に映っています。除雪機にこの私道を除雪してもらうまで待つしかありませんが、けっこう好きな景色です。
My dog can’t come out to the driveway by himself usually but he is allowed to come out because we have thick snow today. He looks curious and happy.
犬は普段私道に出ないようにしているのですが、今は分厚く雪が積もっているので、私道に出てくる事を許可されました。普段見れない場所に好奇心満載で嬉しそうです。
The backyard small hill looks calm and pretty. There is my favourite pine tree which is sitting there. I am glad that none of my trees were knocked down by the snowstorm.
裏庭は落ち着いた様子できれいです。わたしのお気に入りの松の木が無事です。猛吹雪で倒れた木はなかったようでホッとします。
