Hi

Hi, Before that, I would like to greet you first. Introducing my name is Lidia, and I come from a remote village located in a province at the far end of Sumatra, Indonesia. After all this time, I want to write and share some photos of the beauty of nature around me and I hope this post will inspire me to write again on this platform.

That day the weather was very hot, it has been a long time since there has been no rain in my area, maybe it can be called the dry season. It crossed my mind to go away from boredom at home and invite my two younger cousins who are still in elementary school to accompany me to go fishing in the river which is located at the end of the village. We left the house for about 5 minutes by motorbike and brought my uncle's fishing rod. I also brought bait for fishing for several types of fish in the river and one type of fish, namely Tilapia and Mujair.

On the way to the river where we were fishing, I stopped for a moment and saw a puddle with several bones lying on the ground. I really don't know what bones are there, because previously I often passed by that place and didn't see any bones like that. there was no one I could ask, and I only took pictures of the bones. I think it's the bones of animals that died because they were trapped in a puddle or even bones that were deliberately thrown away by humans.

Green Bean Farmer

I passed the fields of farmers who were harvesting green beans. In my village there are several types of plants that are customary to be planted by farmers in certain seasons such as green beans, peanuts, cucumbers and also chilies. This time there were some residents who planted green beans and peanuts. At that time my mother also wanted to plow the fields and intended to plant some green beans, but due to lack of capital my mother finally discouraged her.

Apart from green beans, there are also peanuts grown by farmers in my village.

this is a garden planted with peanuts, and actually this is the first time I've seen this peanut plant. its green leaves and round shape make it very beautiful.

I don't know much about this bean, but in my village many farmers are trying to grow peanuts besides green beans.

After finishing from the farmer's garden, we sat on the edge of the river while fishing, but it seemed we were not lucky and there were no fish to take home, and because it was getting dark we decided to go home.

Our way home

Sunset beauty

IMG_4936.jpeg

Before arriving home, I decided to wait for the sun to set and see its yellow beauty. Actually you could say I want to stop at a place I often go when I want to see the sunset. Even sometimes when I'm lonely and feeling sad I will go to this place while waiting for the sun to disappear slowly. This place is far from people's homes and is located in rice fields. However, there is a tree that often becomes a witness when I cry because of the sadness and pain of life that I experience.
