Does your area have mangrove forests, if so, then lucky you!

Hi all... How are you today? Of course very fine

I say hello too

When I was a child, we often asked our parents, in a tone of question, "Why is this mangrove tree always in every salty water?" whether they are able to survive in the mud with saltwater capacity

It turns out that the existence of this mangrove tree in each particular area has its own uniqueness and is a record for humans of the greatness of this plant. Why? Because he has an extraordinary thing when tracing his life.

Even though they grow chaotically or haphazardly, if they grow with certain rules, they will look beautiful when viewed from afar. Regular position in life becomes an extraordinary thing in its field.

Experts say that this plant belongs to the genus Rhizophora. As mentioned above, it has one uniqueness, namely being able to adapt and thrive in coastal areas that contain salt water, or are often seen in coastal precision. Although people say the coconut tree itself is able to grow on every coast but not in a pool of salty water, but it grows a little far from the coast (lips) of the beach, mangrove trees more often grow on beach sand which is indeed a space for dominance of tidal inundation.

So it can be said that it is an extraordinary and unique plant. However, people forget one thing that it is classified as a watery plant in the sense that it belongs to a plant that requires more water than others.

For me, I often watch them grow with unique roots that can grow up to two meters above the ground, sometimes the enlarged ones can grow so that they look very beautiful in an art setting. In addition, the height of mangroves can also reach 30 meters even though they live in muddy soil, the more mud that shrinks the roots, the more fertile this green plant is.

The small roots then grow into large ones and continue to spread throughout other areas, and are able to strengthen the stems of plants that continue to grow upwards to reach more than 30 meters. The mangrove trees that you see in this post, are mangroves that have been around for decades, uniquely, they will continue to grow and spread naturally with their natural charm.

When you see them growing up in any potentially saltwater field, the question arises whether their presence benefits the area's environment or not. Let's take a look at the reviews together.

🦚 Become a state called the ecosystem of other animals and plants

When mangrove trees grow and breed, the land automatically becomes a swamp, while the swamp itself is often dominated and favored by every animal, such as cranes, egrets and some water birds other.

Not only every bird, even other hunting animals also make the swamp a special place for foodies (animals). As :

  1. Beaver
  2. Rat
  3. Monitor lizard
  4. Crocodile
  5. and, there are many other predatory animals that often make this special land a pleasant visit.

One of the residents of the land and the hosts are the egrets who continue to develop as ambassadors of the region itself. Why?

This is because the swamps have promising food for egrets in the form of small fish, shrimp, and several other snails that are the connectors for the ecosystem of the swamp area.

The upper part of the mangrove, which is overgrown with thick leaves, becomes the center of the nest as a home location (a place to lay eggs and incubate their eggs), each egret baby itself will feel its life in a small nest, later when they are considered capable of protecting themselves from predators, the mother will will release it to play under the trees not far from the nest.

Meanwhile, under the mangrove trees, you will see puddles of water as the location of the life of aquatic animals as mentioned above. They are small fish, small shrimp are also part of the egret ecosystem in their life. So indirectly with the growth of mangrove trees, they become the object of the ecosystem connecting every other animal and plant that lives and develops side by side.

There are still many things that are very important, with the presence of mangrove trees, and naturally it will happen for sure. From the experience of the experts as well as your own vision, we both know that, with the growth of mangrove trees, there will be several things that benefit every environment, such as:

  1. Source of local and foreign tourism potential (nature lovers)

  2. The more mangrove trees grow, the more it can prevent global warming and reduce pollution

  3. There are certain parts that can be used as medicine

  4. The wood can be used as fuel

  5. Safe location for small fish

  6. Mama's mangrove trees absorb carbon dioxide

  7. Prevents beach abrasion and environmental resilience

  8. Able to maintain water quality

  9. As a support for coastal communities

  10. Maintaining the ecosystem of animals and plants (as in the initial explanation), and several other benefits, which may not be mentioned here.

While my own vision, seeing that every mangrove tree that has fallen and grows back, looks like an amazing art, sometimes it resembles an art like a bonsai plant that is often liked by everyone.

Beauty in terms of form and others, looks very elegant in an art, so when I see it I have new ideas in addressing the field of art. Did you see it too? Of course and that's for sure! Their presence in our environment and you is a very lucky and amazing thing. Therefore, let them grow and develop naturally because their presence will be of great benefit to you and your animals and plants.
