Araucarias
They are found in forests and steppes, with an affinity for exposed sites. These columnar trees are living fossils, from the Mesozoic age. Fossil records show that the genus was also in the northern hemisphere earlier until the end of the Cretaceous period.
My mother does not live in the forest, but at home there is currently an Araucarias, she tells him that this tree has been there for a long time.
It's huge.
It can grow up to 50 meters, and its trunk can thicken up to 1 meter in diameter.
