Hace mucho que no compartía en esta comunidad pero el día de hoy estoy muy feliz de volver y que mejor manera de hacerlo que mostrándoles mi pequeña cosecha de tomates cherry, algo que sin duda me hace sentir orgullosa ya que los he tomado con mis propias manos directo de mi jardín y ahora forman parte de los alimentos de mi refrigerador, quiero aprovechar este post para hablar un poco sobre esta especie de tomates y a su vez mostrarles los que he tenido la oportunidad de cosechar en casa, espero que puedan quedarse hasta el final y que sea de su agrado.
It's been a long time since I've shared in this community but today I'm very happy to be back and what better way to do it than showing you my small harvest of cherry tomatoes, something that undoubtedly makes me feel proud since I've taken them with my own hands straight from my garden and now they are part of the food in my refrigerator, I want to take advantage of this post to talk a little about this species of tomatoes and at the same time show you the ones that I have had the opportunity to harvest at home, I hope you can stay until the end and that it is to your liking.
El tomate cherry también conocido como tomate cereza o tomate uva es una especie de tomate de tamaño diminuto que mide aproximadamente 2cm, es originario de América y es de fácil cultivo, la planta necesita de sus cuidados como cualquier otra pero mucho más sencillo, son platas de clima cálido que deben recibir mucho sol y un riego moderado.
The cherry tomato, also known as cherry tomato or grape tomato, is a kind of tiny tomato that measures approximately 2cm, it is native to America and is easy to grow, the plant needs care like any other but much simpler, they are plants warm climate that should receive a lot of sun and moderate watering.
Desde hace mucho tiempo tengo en mi jardín muchas plantas de tomates cherry y a decir verdad se han mantenido bastante, siempre estamos cosechando y siempre tenemos de esos lindos y pequeños tomates para consumir a diario, mientras una planta acaba su ciclo de vida varias más lo están comenzando, así que en casa siempre tenemos la dicha de tener alimentos en nuestro jardín y de cosechar casi a diario un buen puñado de tomates cherry.
For a long time I have had many cherry tomato plants in my garden and to tell the truth they have been quite stable, we are always harvesting and we always have those cute little tomatoes to consume daily, while one plant ends its life cycle several more are beginning, so at home we always have the joy of having food in our garden and harvesting a good handful of cherry tomatoes almost every day.
Es muy lindo y satisfactorio (sin mencionar emocionante) ver a mis hermosas plantas dando frutos, no se imaginan la emoción que siento cada vez que veo esos puntitos rojos entre las plantas cada vez que voy al jardín, lo que quiere decir que hay algo que cosechar en ese día, aunque solo se trata de tomar un simple fruto para mi es de las cosas más gratificantes que pueden existir y que tengo la oportunidad de hacer, hay días en los que son tantos que no me caben en las manos y en ocasiones he llegado a tener m refrigerador lleno de estos pequeños tomates.
It is very nice and satisfying (not to mention exciting) to see my beautiful plants bearing fruit, you can not imagine the emotion I feel every time I see those little red dots between the plants every time I go to the garden, which means that there is something that harvest on that day, although it is only about taking a simple fruit for me it is one of the most rewarding things that can exist and that I have the opportunity to do, there are days when there are so many that they do not fit in my hands and sometimes I've gotten to have my fridge full of these little tomatoes.
Las plantas de tomates cherry son muy fáciles de cuidar, solo basta con tomar las semillas de uno de estos para tener suficientes plantas que den frutos durante un buen tiempo, pero algo que si es muy importante es que debemos tener mucho cuidado con las plagas que suelen atacar a esta planta ya que son muy fuertes y en ocasiones llegan a acabar con la planta por completo, en mi caso, siempre plantamos las semillas primero en macetas con una buena tierra abonada y libre de cualquier insecto que pudiera hacerle daño.
Cherry tomato plants are very easy to care for, it is enough to take the seeds of one of these to have enough plants that bear fruit for a long time, but something that is very important is that we must be very careful with the pests that They tend to attack this plant as they are very strong and sometimes they kill the plant completely. In my case, we always plant the seeds first in pots with good fertilized soil and free of any insect that could harm it.
Una vez que las plantitas ya estén un poco grandesitas (aproximadamente 1 mes) ya pueden trasplantarse a la tierra, pero debe prepararse muy bien el lugar a donde serán trasplantadas, asegurarnos de que la tierra esté en buenas condiciones, que no hayan insectos y arar un poco la tierra.
Once the seedlings are a little big (approximately 1 month) they can be transplanted to the ground, but the place where they will be transplanted must be prepared very well, make sure that the ground is in good condition, that there are no insects and plow a little earth.
Al trasplantarlas a la tierra debemos cuidarlas mucho mientras están pequeñas, basta con regalar a diario con una pequeña cantidad de agua y vigilar que no le caigan plagas, apenas las plantas sobrevivan al trasplante y se adapten al nuevo terreno ya habrá pasado el peligro de perderlas.
When transplanting them to the ground we must take great care of them while they are small, it is enough to give them a small amount of water daily and watch that pests do not fall on them, as soon as the plants survive the transplant and adapt to the new terrain, the danger of losing them will have passed. .
Básicamente ese el todo el cuidado de las plantas de tomates cherry, lo cual les he compartido desde mi propia experiencia, como ya mencioné en algún punto de este post hemos tenido estas plantas desde hace mucho tiempo, aproximadamente unos 2 años y en todo este tiempo esto es lo que hemos aprendido, una vez que las plantas comiencen a florear solo queda esperar un tiempo hasta poder ver los frutos y cosecharlos para posteriormente consumirlos, lo cual les digo que es realmente gratificante. Espero de todo corazón que les haya gustado este post, me siento feliz de haber compartido con ustedes mi experiencia con las plantas de tomates cherry y haberles mostrado mis propias plantas y parte de mi cosecha, realmente es algo que me encanta y me emociona muchísimo.

I'm honestly happy to see cherry tomatoes harvest of your garden. Someone already ripe and others ready to mature. Also tomato plants growing much better with proper maintaining.
Hello, I am also very happy with my plants, I love going out every day and being able to harvest directly from there and use them in meals, it is something really gratifying, at first it was difficult to take care of the plants because of the pests that attacked but nowadays it is a very easy task with experience
