Hello friends of Hive!
Today I would like to mention macro photography, another photographic kind that I have experienced and that is very particular and interesting and that in my opinion also has a scientific approach.
Macro photography is mainly about subjects that are part of nature, especially insects and very small animals, but also flowers and plants of all kinds.
In essence this type of photography has the purpose of obtaining large enlargements of very small subjects, enhancing the smallest details hidden, that surely to the naked eye are not visible, and it is precisely for this reason that it is very fascinating because you have the chance to really discover how something is made.
I mainly focused on photographing flowers, I like to find particular flowers and photograph them, I am fascinated by the colors and shapes.
This is a simple orange daisy, but with this type of photographic technique is enhanced every little detail, from the different shades of color, to the strangest shapes.
Here we go into more detail, I enlarged a lot and focused on the inside of the flower, I exalted the pistils in the center, creating around that blurry effect typical of macro photography.
The blurred is created by the reduced depth of field but also by the use of particular lenses specific to this type of photography.
Macro lenses are very bright lenses, because they have a very open diaphragm, which is fundamental to achieve this particular effect.
I used a 105 mm macro f 2.8, a very bright fixed lens.
