Posting into a community (by using hive-106444 as your first tag) simply gets your post seen by other users with common interests. It's a place to make friends by making comments on their posts, too. And in Feathered Friends you also receive ARCHON tokens (in your Hive-Engine. com wallet) when you make comments on others posts. There are two weekly contests that give you a chance to win Hive. They are pinned at the top of the community page. You keep all earnings on your posts for yourself, although many members choose to delegate or give beneficiary rewards to community to help us give out bigger votes and prizes.

Okay, thanks. I just have one more question which is not really concerning Ecency or posting in the Feathered Friends. Do you know how to change your profile picture on Hive? I have tried but things have changed. I'm tired of my profile picture and want to update it
It has been a long time since I did that but it appears the you go into settings at @ecency.com paste your http links into the appropriate boxes.
