Hi everyone, I finally managed to photograph some beautiful birds that frequent the backyard.
They are difficult to photograph, because at the moment of the shot they have already taken flight or changed poses.
This time, however, I was not caught unprepared, so I had my Nikon camera with 42x optical zoom with me.
I hid behind a large magnolia tree and waited patiently for their arrival.

A sparrow drew the attention of a fellow, there was something that intrigued him.

After a while to occupy the branch were 2 sparrows.
Of course I know their reason and later I'll reveal the secret that calls birds to the garden.
However, the two birds kept an eye on a dove gray eating something off the ground.

And surprise, they took courage and the two sparrows went down to check if something was left for them too.

The secret is .. the bag of bird seeds that every day together with bread crumbs we sprinkle all over the garden so that all the surrounding birds can feed themselves.
Of course there is also a bowl with water but rather than drinking it, they usually enjoy taking a bath in it.

No, it is not strange to feed wild birds, indeed we should all do it especially in the colder months. Unfortunately, it becomes increasingly difficult for birds to find food in the city.
Trees and green spaces are increasingly scarce in cities that become more and more inhospitable for birds who do not migrate but live all year round next to us, so we could call them "citizen birds".
So why don't we all do our part, it takes little, just leave some bread crumbs on the windowsills; in the shops there are bird feeders that can be hung anywhere even on our balconies or just use a little imagination and create them with DIY.

Are you wondering what are the benefits aside from avoiding their suffering?
Meanwhile, having the privilege of observing birds closely without having to look for distant places to devote yourself to birdwatching.
And the thrill of seeing these wonderful birds flutter around the house maybe while we sip a good coffee when we wake up.
Have I convinced you?
Do you want to become a fundamental point of reference for birds this winter?
Then oat flakes, raisins, very ripe fruit so it is not wasted, partially shelled walnuts and hazelnuts, but also millet, hemp, oats, wheat, sunflower seeds, broken corn are welcome.
Since there are many wild species there is not one type of food that is suitable for everyone, but don't worry they know how to choose the right foods, which I recommend must be natural without adding salt or chemical additives.

We can all make small daily gestures to improve the life of all living beings on this Planet and also ours because doing good things makes us feel good.

Thanks for stopping by here.❤️

I really like it when people around the world care for the animals too .. It is already sad enough to experience how many species are extincted from this earth every month and a little respect for nature is actually not to much to ask ^^ .. well done ;)

Thanks. I can't understand why people aren't interested in protecting our wildlife heritage as well as the greenery around us. I hope that more and more people will begin to raise awareness on these issues.

The birds are very cute. You are very kind to them in feeding them with some food. ;)

Thanks a lot.

You're welcome! ;)
