Hi, dear Hivers! I was stimulated to climb one wonderful Saturday morning upon hearing the goodness of the mountain that can be seen on our way heading to Cebu's North, the Mt. Campitlok of Bogo, City Cebu. From the national road, we can vividly see the incomparable view of the mountain; the amazing tree standing in solitude above the huge rock; and the rugged appearance and the magnificent landscape that it has which captivated us to immerse ourselves to be on top.
...well then, I came to think, is it cool to be on top? How would it feel when I will reach the summit? In this blog, I'm going to share all the incredible experiences that I have felt for the first time and the breathtaking views of the place that allured us all and be in love with nature.
We opted to do an early morning walk because we strongly believe that this makes a good start to the day. We will be rejuvenated early and the surrounding is still fresh and composed. The sun that slowly touched our skin is not irritating and is rich in Vitamin D. Morning walk is healthier due to the morning sunlight.
As we embarked on our climbing, reaching the top can be energy-draining as we all know that physical activities can be exhausting. However, my overflowing eagerness motivated me. I was focusing on the positive effect that this natural environment will reward me after the strenuous walk. Once we will reach the summit, it would not be disappointing as this great outdoor activity offers goodness to my mind, body, and my whole being.
What made this hike incredible is the exquisite and amazing views that awaited us to be mesmerized. Walking through this rough mountain terrain was truly challenging and breathtaking. So we will not be totally exhausted, we used to stop for a while, hydrated ourselves with water, and enjoyed the moment of capturing the iconic view of nature. We were able to conquer the overlooking view of the sublime landscape profoundly made by nature after the arduous climb and it was truly awe-inspiring.
We finally reached the summit successfully. I was enticed by the uniqueness of this tree that grows healthy on top of the rock. It grabbed my attention and this was my first time to have seen a tree growing firmly on the rock. This adds beauty and an additional amazing landscape to this mountain. It also serves as the best landmark of Mt. Campitlok, the symbol that can be figured out first in giving directions.
In this languid area, I was leaning my knee on a huge rock. I'm blissful to gaze the fluffy cottony clouds floating incredibly above our heads. It appeared that these clouds are within my reach. As they were swirling and slowly dissipated, I was hypnotized by their spectacular color and charming shapes. This brought me an awesome feeling. A heavenly feeling was what I got.
Reaching on top of the mountain is truly incomparable. I was astonished when I was able to look down on all-natural wonders. I was contemplating too whilst listening to the call of the mountains that was seen on the opposite side that life is really like them. It has its ups and down. The majestic blue color of the sea seen from a distance soothed my inner peace and is truly relaxing. The green and blue surroundings are overwhelming and provided us with serenity and tranquility.
It was a great walk with amazing nature after all. The more we hike, the healthier our mind, body, and soul would be.
