On a walk the other day I was able to get so close to this lizard, I could not believe it how calm and peaceful it was.
I started zooming in with my s21 Samsung phone camera from where I first saw this amazing creature, about five metres away. But then I edged slowly closer until I was only a metre away. I was tempted to reach out and touch him or her but I was sure that would scare both of us way too much.
Basking on an ant hill in the afternoon sun.
Maybe close to 60 cm with it's long tail.
I was able to move around to see both sides of it. This lizard was just not moving! It did not seem scared; it just was not going to miss out on it's perfectly warm spot while waiting for its ant dinner.
I like the dinosaur-like details. So stoked to see this guy. It made my afternoon.
That's so neat! I've only ever seen beardies as pets, never in the wild.
Really love the eyes in that last shot.
Wow... this thing looks cool :) I want photography this one :))
I have here in my garden just small ones :)

I was excited but there is not much information about the animal! It would be interesting to add more ecological information, that would make your post something much more attractive! hugs!
