Seeing all the colorful blooms along the way really gives that spring vibe and passing by some of the trees leaves a nice sweet smell in the air. I love this time of the year when nature is "waking up" and everything looks vibrant, colorful and alive.

This walk goes kind of outside the village or where the houses are, down this narrow road all the way to the river. I noticed a lot of trash bags alongside and I am assuming someone collected all the trash around - a lot of people just throw away trash everywhere really which is something I find really disgusting.

It takes me 45-50 minutes from my house to get to the river and today it was crowded even though it doesn't look like that on these photos because I took them when the roads were empty but a lot of cars passed by, I guess a lot of people want to enjoy nice weather chilling by the river.

I finally made it and immediately was welcomed by two dogs that seemed very friendly and willing to show me around, haha.

Of course, I had to give these cuties some cuddles as they were adorable! I didn't spend too much time here as there was more people than usual. I also didn't bring my headphones, journal or book with me as I just like to chill here, stare at the water, birds and try to enjoy the view as much as I can. Maybe I would stay longer if I had some of my entertainment so next time I think I'll bring my journal at least.

Usually I don't see people fishing here but I guess they also wanted to take advantage of a nice day! Most of the time they sit in boats left from they were today and I sit under one of those trees but today we kind of switched places - if you cannot tell I try to avoid being surrounded by people when I come here, haha.

I always take some pretty cool photos when I come here but today wasn't one of those days! I still want to share them even if they are not the best, I guess I was just trying to enjoy my time not worrying too much about taking cool shots.

On my way back I met four dogs - three you can see on the photo (kind of) and the black one was out of frame. I stopped by to pet the black one and then these also came, mom with two puppies and they ended up running around me and then following me. I was worried that they will follow me all the way to the village and my home but when I came across a lady with two dogs looking after sheep, they went back and also saw another dog who got their attention so they were no longer interested in me.

At this point I already knew I was going to be really tired when I come home. When I was living in the city, I did a lot of walking everywhere but since I moved back home on February 2nd I got really lazy when it comes to physical activity. All the garden work we did yesterday and long walk today left me with sore legs and butt, haha. Tomorrow we will continue planting more veggies so I hope I will be able to help without too much complaining. It feels kind of good though, I should probably continue being more active and build up more muscles.

I was hoping I will see my dog friend on my way back. Since I moved back home, I see this dog almost every time I go to the library, post office... He is usually in front of the same house or nearby and he never follows me so I am assuming he has an owner but at the same time he is always on the streets. I love seeing him, it always makes my day when I call him over and runs wiggling his tail.
A great walk and photos, congrats!
Dunav?
@tipu curate
Thank you! :)
This specific area is almost like a little lake formed by Dunav which goes by my village. :D I prefer coming here rather than going by the "main" river. :D

Things are livening up here in Iran as well… 🙂💚
Oh, that's such a nice photo, blooms look so pretty! :)
Yeah... Spring brings back life... <3
I can feel you, hahaha!
When I lived in Athens, I walked all the time avoiding public transportation as much as I could. We are talking about long distances. When we moved to the village, I realized that even with the daily dog walks I still walk and exercise so much less. You are the first person that I hear saying that, so we are at least two :)
That was a lovely walk! The place looks gorgeous!
It sounds like you had such a nice walk, plus look at all the new animals friends you’ve met.
Love the pictures. Thanks for taking us on your journey.
