I like to post fresh pictures and this morning we had fresh weather.
The guy in the back window was waving at me as the chopper came over.
Everything that I see in nature creates a special feeling in me. A feeling of belonging and being loved. Pleasant to stare at the strong mountains, to see the beauty in the skies and to wonder about our existence.
But come and look at what I saw.
Here's an early shot of the mountains and the air was "crispy" and fresh.
Lady Sally sat posing for me as she waited for the sun.
A bit later the wind started to play with the clouds, splitting them into long streamers.
And as usual the squirrels were doing their thing upon my return. They knew that they will get nuts.
Of course the little dove also had a share of nuts.
Yep, just an ordinary day in my early mornings and today we will have to scramble again as I had a call this morning for help. A house in the township was on fire and the family of 8, two adults and 6 children lost everything. So yes, another battle to keep things together.
But such is life.

Oh dear, I hope that family is all right. Devastating for them. Glad they have the Papillon Foundation to help.
The ward councilor sent us a list of needs Lady Fiona, but we have already allocated funding for incontinent nappies for a home that cares for cerebral palsy children.
They use 84 nappies a day and they urgently need nappies.
We have R2000 left in the kitty and we will spend that on the list of needs.
Tomorrow morning I will be talking to the Disaster Relief management, as I only got the contact from the councilor tonight. They supply temporary housing, bedding and clothes.
But in the meantime the family is okay for now.
This is why we need a fundraiser, as we are becoming known here and I don't like not being able to help genuine cases of need.
Just unbelievable how awesome the mountains are there. Your photos are always top notch.
God bless you for all your efforts to help others in need, you most certainly have a golden pass through the pearly gates.
Good luck today, I am sure it's going to be a long one. My thoughts and prayers are with that poor family, losing everything is heart breaking, I hope all of them are safe. Things can be replaced, people cannot be.

We are also glad that they all escaped the inferno and a long road lies ahead for them. But we are gathering the forces to help them and let's hope only the best for them.
