Welcome to the 105th round of my special weekly photo challenge known as Appreciate Beauty of Nature with @phortun :)
I know a lot of photo contests with nature as the main theme were/are/will be hosted by various people on the Hive blockchain but I wanted to come up with something more than just another photo contest where participants would submit their best natural photos. Therefore, I decided to go for quite an unusual concept that I am going to introduce in the following lines.
The aim of the Appreciate Beauty of Nature with @phortun photo challenge is not to make you dig up your photo archives and submit the best pictures of nature that you have ever taken. Instead, I want you guys to go out and appreciate the beauty of our nature right now.
The internet (and the Hive blockchain as well) is flooded with picture perfect shots of landscapes, mountains, forests, beaches etc. taken years ago. But this is not what I want to see in this challenge. I want to see shots that may not be necessarily stunning but they must be fresh, proving that you have just physically spent some time outdoors in the fresh air. But remember that nature comes in many forms. It doesn´t have to be a pristine jungle or a deep remote forest. An urban park, a botanical garden, a little grove on the outskirts of your town - pretty much any place with some trees, plants, rocks, bodies of water or any other natural features would be just as fine ;)
Obviously, there is no way for me to verify whether the photo that you submit in the challenge is really fresh or if it was even taken by you so I am relying on your honesty guys. The prizes for the winners (as described below) are more symbolical than overly motivating so I don´t expect too much fraudulent behavior in this challenge anyway.
I want to keep the rules of this challenge as simple and benevolent as possible so let´s agree on just this:
Only one entry (photo) per person per round.
The photo must be yours and not older than one week.
Add a few words about the photo, at least where and when you took it.
You can start submitting your entries to this round in the comment section below from now until the next round.
Prior to publishing the next round post, I will pick 3 winners, give my full upvote on their entries and feature them in the next round of the challenge. As long as the response is not too overwhelming, I will also try to give some smaller upvotes on all of the other entries to reward all participants.
I might change the concept and/or the rules of the photo challenge later on, depending on how things go. I usually host the challenge on Thursday but when needed for some reason, I can host it on some other day so better check my blog regularly not to miss out on it ;)
To keep up with you guys, I submit my own fresh natural photo to every round´s post too :) Here is my contribution to start out this round:
As I already mentioned in my yesterday post, we have just had a series of unusually warm and sunny days here in Krakow, Poland and it was during one of those days that we went for a little hike around the Kosciuszko Hill and the surrounding forests. There are several spots on the way up to the top of the hill where you can enjoy some beautiful panoramic landscape views from. When the visibility is good (it actually was that day), you can even see the silhouettes of the magnificent Tatra Mountains far in the background. It was such a lovely day. I took the picture on Saturday, February 12, at around 1 P.M.

Hi @phortun, this is a picture few days ago from my walk in my favorite park, which is called Green Timbers Park in Surrey, Canada. I love the different kinds of beautiful nature you can find in this park. Even though it is still winter here, and the trees are still naked , I founded still so beautiful with all these ferns covering the ground. I actually just made a post about it, and it was super hard just to pick one picture. Thank you for this awesome contest.

Now let me surprise you :P Here is a photo I took only 5 minutes ago :D It is from the backyard of our country house in Bulgaria. The snowdrops went in blossom 3-4 days ago and as it seems, if it wasn't for you, I'd miss taking a single photo of them, as it is quite warm for the season in the last week :) No edit at all, just used the Vivid filter of my Sony phone and uploaded straight to the contest :) Have a great day and a slice of PIZZA :)

We have been suffering from storms like Duddley, Eunice and Franklin in the past two days here in The Netherlands.
But although the weather is impetuous the first trees are already starting to blossom. This is the Japanese Maple I photographed in my backyard this week.

Spring is in the air, but, this morning, I couldn't really tell. It has been warm, but, the rain took over the sky today. I still have been seeing a couple of leaves hanging on the trees from the fall, I think they will not release until the new ones push it out. Walking in the rain was a brisk, adrenaline experience for me. A nice hot shower after it really got my blood flowing.

Hi nature lovers friends!
This is the picture I choose for this contest. Was taken at Ilhabela Natural Park Reserve on the trail to Castelhanos beach.
You only get there by jeep or by boat. If you go by jeep, go early in the morning... you have to cross a national reserve park that has controlled access and a limited number of visitors.
The picture shows the Mata Atlantica jungle where the road pass. The jungle is so closed that you cant see the road.
Some minutes there to enjoy the view and see this incredible nature.

I want to join this challenge. This is a picture I took in the early morning of Nguyen Tat Thanh Bay last Sunday morning. The position I took the photo in was halfway through Hai Van Pass, Da Nang, Vietnam. That morning it rained. The sky at that time was covered with black. But from the middle of the sea, there was a light streak from the sun shining on the water, the scene was very interesting. There was a line of light passing through the dark cloud into the sea, and I captured this moment before the dark clouds dissipated. Indeed nature gives us interesting moments and it looks very mysterious.
This photo was taken with my phone.

Hi @phortun, here is one fresh photo from my Saturday skialp trip to Praded, Jeseniky mountains. It was partly sunny and a terribly strong wind. But still, I enjoyed it ❤

I love your beautiful nature picture which reminds me of my grandmas village, where we would walk to the top of the hill/mountain and see gorgeous farm/ land views just like your photo. It was one of my favorite and peaceful places and I miss it a lot and think of if a lot.

I took this picture on February 13th, while visiting the popular White Rock beach, in BC, Canada. We were very lucky and blessed to enjoy this gorgeous sunset.
I love watching the sunsets, since they are so warm, so peaceful and so breathtaking.

Yesterday's ski at sunset was the most unusually I have seen for a long time over Byron Bay town the whole ski was covered in this pinkish color it would have been the perfect sky for Valentine's day but it was a week late, despite that it was still one amazing pink sunset.

Yeah, eaxctly :) Usually, I have a lot of participants from tropical countries like Vietnam or Venezuela and there is always some nice lush greenery in their entries :) But it feels like nature is going to wake up here in Central Europe soon too ;)
