Welcome to the 71st round of my special weekly photo challenge known as Appreciate Beauty of Nature with @phortun :)
I know a lot of photo contests with nature as the main theme were/are/will be hosted by various people on the Hive blockchain but I wanted to come up with something more than just another photo contest where participants would submit their best natural photos. Therefore, I decided to go for quite an unusual concept that I am going to introduce in the following lines.
The aim of the Appreciate Beauty of Nature with @phortun photo challenge is not to make you dig up your photo archives and submit the best pictures of nature that you have ever taken. Instead, I want you guys to go out and appreciate the beauty of our nature right now.
The internet (and the Hive blockchain as well) is flooded with picture perfect shots of landscapes, mountains, forests, beaches etc. taken years ago. But this is not what I want to see in this challenge. I want to see shots that may not be necessarily stunning but they must be fresh, proving that you have just physically spent some time outdoors in the fresh air. But remember that nature comes in many forms. It doesn´t have to be a pristine jungle or a deep remote forest. An urban park, a botanical garden, a little grove on the outskirts of your town - pretty much any place with some trees, plants, rocks, bodies of water or any other natural features would be just as fine ;)
Obviously, there is no way for me to verify whether the photo that you submit in the challenge is really fresh or if it was even taken by you so I am relying on your honesty guys. The prizes for the winners (as described below) are more symbolical than overly motivating so I don´t expect too much fraudulent behavior in this challenge anyway.
I want to keep the rules of this challenge as simple and benevolent as possible so let´s agree on just this:
Only one entry (photo) per person per round.
The photo must be yours and not older than one week.
Add a few words about the photo, at least where and when you took it.
You can start submitting your entries to this round in the comment section below from now until the next round.
Prior to publishing the next round post, I will pick 3 winners, give my full upvote on their entries and feature them in the next round of the challenge. As long as the response is not too overwhelming, I will also try to give some smaller upvotes on all of the other entries to reward all participants.
I might change the concept and/or the rules of the photo challenge later on, depending on how things go. I usually host the challenge on Thursday but when needed for some reason, I can host it on some other day so better check my blog regularly not to miss out on it ;)
To keep up with you guys, I submit my own fresh natural photo to every round´s post too :) Here is my contribution to start out this round:
Last Saturday, just before watching the Poland vs. Spain EURO 2020 football match at the Tauron Arena Fanzone, we spent a few hours just hanging around the nearby Lotnikow Polskich Park. It must be one of the largest parks in Krakow (if not the very largest) as it´s really huge. Close to the entrance from the Aleja Pokoju Street, there is also this beautiful lake. It was very hot during the day and people were swimming in it (despite the signs saying that swimming in the lake is not allowed) but in got empty and quiet in the evening when I was taking this photo.
In the last round, we had 9 participants. After some thorough consideration, I decided to pick these 3 winners:

Another beautiful day in Byron Bay, Australia but just a little cooler this photo was taken this afternoon, toady on my walk up to the Byron Bay Lighthouse and I am looking over to Wategos Beach which is on the other side of the headlands from Byron Bay Beach was a stunning clear blue sky day today and another day is over... Thanks @phortun. That's a nice place to live and enjoy the atmosphere. Here is my contribution this round. The photo was just taken a few minutes ago at Thu Bon River, Hoi An, Vietnam, ancient town here while I'm spending my weekend here. Normally, here is always packed with tourists but now very quiet and peaceful.

I went out the other day as my friend and we drove around. This was one solo tree on top of a little bit of land. I wonder what animals might call this Tree Top Island home, I wonder what sort of mountain needs to be around it before it went away. But still nature finds a way oh, it lives it breathes.

Sure, this is in Vietnam, like 40 Min outside of Danang, I am not sure of the GPS location, hmm... but the date it was taken was on June 27th. Here is the image details from my phone.

Thank you very much, no need to be this specific, just a country or region is usuall fine plus it´s important to know that the photo is not older than 7 days because that´s the point of the challenge, to go out and appreciate the beauty of nature regularly, at least once every week ;)

We finished the day off at Maligne Lake in Jasper National Park after a day of 17km of total hiking on the day a couple of days ago. With the long summer days, there has been plenty of daylight to enjoy jam packed days outdoors in the rockies. We just came back now is time to rest up our muscles.

Thank you, @phortun, for the feature, always a pleasure to be mentioned. My entry this round is about the fantastic beach Tien Sa in Da Nang, which I called the little tropical paradise (it was taken on Monday). Locating behind the mountain, the beach here is very calm and great to swim in. The water is crystal clear, and the surrounding sceneries are stunning. What a mistake that I did not visit here often before !! But it's ok now I know it and will definitely come back once the restriction is eased.

Hi there, @phortun I thought I would put one in this week yesterday I took a walk around the Pattaya Bay Beach in Thailand were I am living at the moment and I decided to go a little of the normal tourist tracks I like walking places where tourist normally wouldn't so here I am climbing rock boulders getting splashed by sea water crashing on the rocks but was all fun the day was hot so the splashing was doing me a favor, keeping me cool just had to keep my phone guarded from getting wet and as I go around and over this other section of rocks, I landed on some beach sand and just then as I stepped onto this sand I must had disturbed a group of Pigeons that were feeding on some rice and they all just took of like a bunch of wimps straight pass my camera and they were all busted on camera :)

My Entry :
Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh, India. Its a hilly area and climate here is just amazing, usually rains throughout the year, so greenry here is amazing. This photo was taken on Monday by me with my Smartphone. I was here on some urgent personal work so it was just one day trip so couldn't travel much. But I love this place and will definitely travel again just for enjoyment.

Hi @phortun, this is my post of the week. A beautiful wild plant and its yellow flower that I found yesterday Sunday by chance in a field near Parque del Este or Parque Generalísimo Francisco de Miranda, in Caracas Venezuela, when I was going to exercise with a walk.
