PHOTOGRAPHY | Maybe, This Is a Melolonthinae

in WE ARE MOVING2 years ago
This morning I woke up and drank coffee on the terrace. On the terrace floor I found a brownish beetle. I think he washed up on the porch after last night's heavy rain.

Actually I'm not sure exactly what kind of beetle I saw. To be sure, I also tried using Google Lens as a search tool. There I can find many kinds of beetles. Out of all of them, I think only one fits mine best.

In Latin it is called Melolonthinae, derived from the scarab beetle subfamily. This species can be found in most areas of the world. There are at least 11,000 more species. Some authors include the scarab subfamilies Euchirinae and Pachypodinae as tribes in Melolonthinae source.
