PHOTOGRAPHY | Portulaca grandiflora

Hello all friends in the amazing nature community. May you always be healthy and happy...

My post today is about a plant called rose moss which I planted about three weeks ago in front of the hut I live in. This flower seed was brought by a friend who came to visit because he knew that I was making a small garden.

This flower plant is like a creeping grass. And very easy to propagate. You only need to take a little from the stem, and then plug it into the ground or into a polybag that has been filled with planting media.

Physically, this flower is very similar to a rose, from color to shape. However, this flower is smaller than a rose in general. And the blooming time is not too long. In one stem, we can find up to several flower buds.

From the existing literature, this flower has the Latin name Portulaca grandiflora and belongs to the Portulacaceae family. This flower is also commonly called the flower at nine in the morning, because it blooms at that time. This flower is also fairly happy with sunlight and tends to close at night or cloudy source.

Thank you for your support...
