Thank you kindly, for your prompt response, @apanamamama. Your expression of support, in choosing to follow me, is appreciated, but please be aware of what I wrote on my last post back in March. Without the changes referenced there, I will almost certainly never write another post on the Hive blockchain.

That said, I am "still around" and added your account to the feed I check out briefly on an almost a daily basis. Particularly in the early morning hours (my favorite time of day), as I go through what I call "my inputs" (from an SOP from a long professional career ...).

I admire what you and your husband have chosen to do. And my limited understanding of your reasons for doing so. And what you are hoping to accomplish ... I will be interested to learn more, as I read what you are led to write in the future.

I understand. I just recently got back into blogging on Hive as I took a really long break from writing, but I like have a place to share about our life here.

🌄 Good morning! ☕ Just a quick follow-up note to let you know that I have now managed to make a first pass through the website about relocating to Panama, provided on your website. Needless to say, I would not have invested the time, if it were not a topic of potential interest.

Quick "bullet point" list about who we are:

• Disciples of Jesus Christ


• A retired couple, a generation older than you and Ben. We also have a "quiver full" of children, all now out in the world with their own families, literally spread across the country (America).


• I have a college-era friend, with whom I "reconnected" a couple of years ago, who has lived much of his adult life in Latin America. Currently, he lives what appears to be a relatively short distance (at least in terms of what we are accustomed to here in the West ...) from Volcan, in Costa Rica.

We do not believe in luck / coincidence. All happens for a reason, according to His will, although we make no pretense to being wise enough to always (ever?) knowing what ultimately that is, in His eyes. So ... Repeating my earlier statement, I am glad to have found this link to what you and your family have felt led to do down in Corazón del Cielo.

Whether anything more comes of it, only He knows. I will most certainly be talking about it, in my next visit with my above-mentioned friend, which is days away.

Other than that, I will likely say very little more of a personal nature, as I do not want it "immutably enshrined" on this (or any other) blockchain. I'll close asking for confirmation, for future reference, that Ben's preferred method of communicating internationally, with privacy and security ensured (at least as much as we can prudently manage it), would be to use the UI on your website?

Thanks for the message! Interesting you have a friend in CR. We met some people last year at a conference in Colorado who were living right across the border in CR and they came to check out our project and moved here. We love our little Heart of Heaven. ;) It's interesting that when we bought the property, it was already named that...and the caretaker at the time was named Jesus. Yes, if you'd like to contact Ben, you can use the contact button on the website or I believe his email and phone number are on the site. He's on all of the messaging apps - telegram, signal... Feel free to contact him whenever to discuss anything about the community. We regularly meet up with people on Zoom, etc. who are looking to move or even just curious about the project. We pray regularly for God to bring the right people to this community!
