The Largest Buddha Statue in Japan

Hello I am RYO!

I went to see the biggest Buddha statue in Japan!
Plus there are just so many beautiful pink flowers blooming in this place!😀

Wow! Japan's largest Buddha statue could be spotted by me from a distance!

Many pink flowers are blooming at the feet of the Buddha statue😍

Great!! They are Shiba-zakura!😀

Shiba-zakura is bloom in April or May!

Yeah! very big Buddha statue!

He is 120 meters tall!😲
This temple was started 800 years ago.
But this huge Buddha statue is new, only completed 30 years ago!

The collaboration of this huge Buddha statue and Shiba-zakura is truly amazing!

This beautiful pink flowers...

and some blue-flowered nemophora↓

The nemophila was not fully bloomed yet, but…

Oh! there was a weasel!(center of pic)↓

Does he live here? He left me soon after😊

And there is cherry blossom😀↓

i think, those pink flowers hold a symbolic and even spiritual value to the people of Japan I don't know the native term for it. but I've seen it nearly in every scene, every Japanese cultural event they are there.
it is fascinating, truly.
If you could dedicate a whole post for it, it would be great. I d love to hear more from you and your content.

The name of this pink flower means "cherry blossom on the lawn".
It is not exactly a cherry blossom, but it looks like a beautiful cherry blossom blooming from the ground😀

I will post a picture of this place next! and I've got many pictures of Shiba-zakura in other places, so I'll post those too!
