Speaking of disasters and natural anomalies, this is the result of the last night storm for one of our Paulownia trees.
Oh yes, I know it's not a big deal.
And we are extremely lucky.
Compared with the Czech Republic, southern France, Spain, Russia.
Compared to other parts of our country, where a state of emergency was declared, where the water from the rain had washed away the asphalt of the streets, flooded houses, basements and sown areas, where lightning set fire to barns and people feared for their lives even in the next rain.
But, as I said before, when an earthquake hit us in the non-seismic area where we live earlier this year, it is very unpleasant to feel so small during these disasters.
So small because you can't do anything, you can't counteract, you can't help with anything.
You can only wait to see later (if you are still alive) the consequences.
Today is the day of the tree, #TreeTuesday.
But for me, this is a day to commemorate the death of a tree (with honors).
Because this tree lived, fulfilling its life duty to the end. And it died proudly in the storm.
Am I sentimental?
Yes, I think I'm a little sentimental.
But this is always the case when someone dies.
