Have you seen the blossoms of the Prunus spinosa, or the blackthorn?
Because I've already shown you its beautiful, yet strange fruits...blue fruits.
And this post is a continuation of my post about blossoms of fruit trees, starting with pictures of Prunus 'Kanzan' blossoms.
And I finally managed to wait. Waiting for all the fruit trees in the garden to bloom so I can photograph them and make this post, showing you each one and telling you why I'm showing them to you.
The reason for doing all this was the color of the cherry blossoms. My personal delusion about the color of the blossoms.
Because personally I had forgotten and expected them to be pink.
Pink like the peach tree blossoms:
Or pink like the apricot tree blossoms:
(Until recently, they were my absolute favorites.)
But as I told you before, the cherry blossoms in our garden are white. Not pink:
So, apricot and peach tree blossoms are pink, while the color of their fruit is...You know the color of their fruit.
The blossoms of the blackthorn are white, while its fruit is blue.
The same goes for the flowers of the common plum or European plum:
The cherry blossoms are white, while the fruit is red.
The flowers of the pear are also white:
Also the flowers of some unknown young shrub/tree in the garden:
The apple blossoms:
But... Here comes one big But. And that's the biggest surprise.
As it turns out that the blossoms of some apple trees begin like that:
which then become the most beautiful flowers I have ever seen
You see, I think we are usually concentrated in cherry blossoms or Sakura blossoms every year. We look forward to them, then enjoy them, take photos and almost worship as the only and most beautiful flowers. Yet at the same time, there are so many other flowers of so many other fruit trees that are just as, if not more, beautiful than them.
P.S. These are the flowers of the quince tree, which I photographed for you in the neighbor's yard, because there are no such trees in our garden.
And they are also very beautiful, aren't they?

White color is always full of positive vibes 😊 I tried to make something like an overview and catalog of the different types of fruit trees and their blossoms. Most of them are white, actually. Which is great (from a psychological point of view probably too).
