Monarch

One of my favorite butterflies is the beautiful Monarch. I look forward to seeing them arrive in my gardenscape to enjoy the flowers I plant for them each year. This is one of the females that I released after she emerged from her chrysalis.

I have 15 more that are in various stages of growth including many still in egg form. I will do a separate post for them soon after I edit the photos.

Swallowtail

This butterfly looks like it has been through a war zone. The lower wings are almost gone and the upper ones are in tattered form. Even with torn wings, she is able to fly around enough to gather nectar from my butterfly bush.

Bumblebee

This bumblebee is loaded with pollen from the flowers. It is gathering from my Coleus plants flowers which is awesome. It ensures I will have seeds for next year's hanging baskets for them.

Blackeyed Susan

These flowers are putting on quite the show this year will all the heat we have had. The insects are loving the Salvia, Zinnia's, Verbena's, and the Sunflowers in the garden. Below is a photo of one section of the butterfly garden that is in bloom this week.

Thank you very much for your nice compliment.

So many flowers in your garden. Those bees and butterflies should be very happy with plenty of food!

They sure are @kaminchan I take good care of them and they take care of my vegetables.

Just lovely, especially the black-eyed susans.

Awe thank you, you are always so kind to stop in and share your thoughts. I love how beautiful they filled in this year. I think they look the best they ever have and who would not love blackeyed susans?

How beautiful pictures. How have you been?

Hello Denisse, I am doing well and very busy harvesting my gardens. How are you and your family? I rarely see a post from you but will go look now to see how things are for you. Much love to you.
