Hi there!
What a beautiful afternoon by the pond! The sun shone brightly after a very gray and rainy morning.
I planted some more seeds and starts in the garden and walked among the fiddle heads in the forest near the garden.
The daffodils are certainly in full swing now! I think I may move some of these once they’re done blooming because it’s so crowded with them they’re kind of flopping out into the driveway!
I generally get amazing views of the sunrise here at the pond, the sun pokes its head up over the hill in the east and the light show can often be quite spectacular.
What I don’t get to see are the sunsets. The way the pond and my home are situated makes for a big hill, blocking off the west so that I do often get to see pink and purple sky, but never the sun actually setting.
For that I’d have to venture out to the ocean, and honestly on most clear sunny days it’s well worth it to do so!
I was out and about the other day and it kind of hit me just how beautiful most sunsets are by the ocean! Just amazing. Glad I stopped and snapped a picture.
Momma duck and her four babies are doing well. I’ve kept them inside so far but soon they’ll be free to roam the pond with the other adults, only coming back in when they get hungry in the afternoon or evening.
I’ve been making plant hangers like crazy for the season, I’m guessing it will be one of my main sellers, but I also started a bra/bikini top as well. I’ve been wanted to get into macrame clothes for a while now so this will be my first try.
I’m pretty excited about it! Not sure if this kind of thing would actually sell, seems like people prefer crocheted bikinis, I’m thinking maybe they wouldn’t be so dense as this cotton cord can be quite heavy once it’s all knotted together like this! I’ll find out soon anyway!
