Ever since I became a vegetarian, I have been looking for meat substitutes to get iron from. Raisins are a major source of iron, which helps carry oxygen to the tissues.
Raisins are dried grapes. They have been in great demand since ancient times because of their many benefits for the human body.
Raisins are very high in calories - there are 249 calories in 100 grams.
They are rich in fiber, compared to grapes, they have much more.
Sime contains a small amount of protein, more carbohydrates, cellulose, sugars, organic acids, little fat; vitamins A, from group B (B1, B5, B2, B6), P, C, E, K; minerals: potassium, magnesium, copper, sodium, phosphorus, iron, chlorine, calcium, manganese.
Here are some of the benefits of raisins:
-Help with cardiovascular disease
-Anemie
-Lung diseases
-Bile diseases
-They reduce the acidity of the blood
-They help with osteoporosis and joint diseases
-They support the work of the nervous system
-Helps In case of impaired vision
-protect against caries
-They help the body cope with stress and fatigue
-Fever
-Help with constipation
-Increase libido in sexual weakness
-To gain weight
And more...
Raisins are a useful and very tasty food that I include in my menu almost every day. They give a lot of energy before training and help to recover after a hard workout.
