The Pure Beauty of Blooming Nature Followed by Rare & Extreme Weather Change

in WE ARE MOVING4 years ago

I've heard many times in my life that the break is sometimes just as important, if not more, as the work, if you take it in the right time. As an artist, a graphic designer, I spend my time looking at the screen for the most of the day, so it's impossible to have great inspiration every day. Due to lack of inspiration, I took a week off from writing new posts, but I was still active, reading and engaging - finding new people on the community I like. I find that "rest time" very important and necessary for my further development here.

I promised myself, the day I came back on Hive a month ago, I will keep my account neat, clean, with entertaining posts. Also I decided to engage on the posts with the authors I really appreciate and behind which stands hard work. In the same time, that is what fills me as a being and also gives me inspiration to continue with my work. Simple as that.

At the end of the working day I went for a walk with my good friends and with their playful dog - Ares. The day was extremely wonderful - the embodiment of a true spring day - sunny, warm with amazing scents in the air. No matter I was planning to get a rest from Hive, subconsciously, we spent talking about Hive for an hour or so. Actually, I am proud to say we'll soon get one more really amazing Hive user. I've been explaining all the stuff and knowledge I've collected about this community, its coins, system and connected platforms. It turned out he really liked it. At the moment, he's collecting materials and is already thinking and planning his future here. When I looked at it all a day later, I figured out that I've acquired a professional deformation of engaging with people - what a great deformation huh? 😅

Back to the theme. Let me share some beautiful nature moments I've captured. As I've mentioned right above, the day was really charming, it was pleasant +20°C. If I had to visualize smells in the air... they were pink, white and green I swear. My friends and I agreed to go to some quiet, peaceful place to chillout. We took our coffee to go, some water and we headed for a meadow near where we live. It was madness how fast everything started to bloom. We had a walk at the same place a week before this one, while everything was still "dead" because of the winter.

1 WEEK LATER - BLOOMING EXPLOSION

I must admit that my main focus, at least as far as photography is concerned, was on the flowers blooming and the nature itself. During our walk, I noticed a tree stand not so far from us. Hunting is part of the tradition here in Croatia, and there are a lot of hunters, so tree stands are not a foreign concept. Although, this one seemed very old to me, and as someone who's afraid of heights, it wasn't very pleasant climbing up those ladder, but hey, I had to look up for the view.

  • FUN FACT: I wanted to take a shot of an abandoned area you can partly see at the left side of the frame/shot. I was busy with having my grip firm so I don't fall down which led to the point I freaking missed a shot by 2 miles or so.

I really believe that we computer guys appreciate nature little bit more than it's used to, as we're lack of it. Those days in nature are really something we're missing. We found a core and source of that beautiful smell in the air I was talking about. Everything was white of flowers like it was snowing, and that last photo of the tree above this paragraph... Just look at this wonderfully built tree!

I don't really know which branch this species belongs, and what is it actually, but, it's very fascinating and pretty.

Winter in the Middle of the Spring?!

Yes... you read that well. Just 2 days after, a rare weather condition have appeared. The temperature dropped badly, it was below zero °C for few days in a row. Can you imagine going for a walk in short sleeves and shorts and the very next day is 25 degrees less? This is not very common weather for April, especially for people engaged in agriculture. For example, my friend has the whole field of hazel trees, which just bloomed. These 2 days of low temperatures really did some damage to blooming flowers that should've become fruits in few months. It sucks to be dependent on the weather, especially when it ain't how you planned.

I guess I'm ready for my further work now. Also, I warmly recommend anyone in the "creative block" to follow my steps. Turn off your brain, take as much pause you need and just hang up in the nature. Go for a walk and appreciate the moment you're in.

Have a wonderful day. 💚

What a wonderful time outdoors, brilliant photography showing the area coming to life with flowers, trees spike like plants that over here we call weeds.

Sorry the friends Hazel trees took a knock with bad weather passing through, one thing we cannot tame!

@tipu curate

Yup, that's not something we can affect on as you said. Nature is amazing in many ways, but sometimes cruel as well. That was some aggressive weeds then I guess. Thanks for some info, and thank you very much for stepping by, it's always nice to have you here :)

Weather has been temperamental of late, we have had massive lightning storms come up then disappear as quick.

Prickly leaves, yellow lantern flowers. We refer to them as weeds, an alien invasive plant in our country - Mexican prickly poppy, flowering thistle.

Have a wonderful weekend, thanks for sharing.

This sounds really odd, some strange things happening.

Thank you for the kind words, wish you the same 😊

Thank you for your engagement on this post, you have recieved ENGAGE tokens.

Hi @tonac , I so agree with you, it is so necessary to chill sometimes and just smell the roses, go for a walk and experience life around you. I sometimes panic because I don't have something to post, so what! leave it, take a breather and the creative juices will flow. Write because you love it and as if you are created for it. Your post has given me encouragement, thank you so muchfor sharing.

I am very glad to hear that from you @artywink! It's nice knowing I gave someone a wind in the back, while helping myself too. It's a win-win situation. In my opinion, it should always be a priority to do things you love without any pressure. The best things come from that.

Have a nice day and further development here 😊

Thank you @tonac it is so true, do what you love and things will flow. You have a great day and keep up the good work, looking forward to your next post.

Very beautiful post about this strange, sudden weather change. The first plant of the post looks amazing, never saw it here around Pula.

It is truly amazing!!! I love nature and its beauty... And you take very good photographs, @tonac!
