Memories: Stork Lilya

image.png

Hi, my dear friends!
A few memories and a little beauty of autumn nature.
In the first three photos, our stork Lilya. We found her sick and weak. She spent a year with us and flew away one autumn. Since then, every spring she flew to our yard, lived there for a week or two, and then went off on her stork business. This has been the case for five years in a row. But this year she did not fly. Probably because of the war. I really hope that she is alive and everything is fine with her, and that next spring, when we have already driven the Russian fascists out of our country, she will definitely arrive.

We installed this lamppost in the yard especially for our storks. We dreamed that maybe one of them would decide to make a nest there.

Unfortunately, this did not happen. But the nest still appeared. It was built by our storks, who could not fly. They even laid eggs.

My greatest desire is for the war to end and for us to return to normal life. I rarely write about it. We are tired. We are very tired. But we won't give up. I do my best to keep my life and the life of the animals in my shelter as normal as possible. This is the only way to survive and keep the mind in the midst of fire and destruction.

Love you all 😘
