One hour's meditation on the work of the Creator is better than seventy years of prayer. ―Prophet Mohamed ﷺ
The change of seasons is like the mixing of giant palette ... a glimpse of the Divine hand at work. Here a dab of burnt orange, there a touch of gold. It's awesome, humbling stuff to meditate on the ever-shifting natural beauty that daily surrounds us.
Look, for example, at this striking image, below, of a tree aflame. Like a massive torch...
These pictures are taken in Maryland, near Washington DC.
It makes the heart glad to awaken to such breath-restoring splendor. Morning becomes electric. Here is my joyous wife mirroring the wonder that is around her:
And, there I am, all bundled up -- I am from Egypt, and live most of the year in Florida, so Washington DC can be cold for me :)
I hope you are enjoying the season, whichever one it might be in your part of the world -- there are many shades of Beauty.
If the only prayer you ever say in your entire life is thank you, it will be enough. —Meister Eckhart
The trees look so gooood. 😊
Yes, @thegoodbi, nature is a kind of magic... I see from your pictures that you've seen your fare share of Beauty!
