El Araguaney ( Tabebuia chrysantha ) fue declarado el árbol nacional de Venezuela, y es muy común verlos en cualquier lugar, y ver el color amarillo atractivo de sus flores, este árbol se encuentra en un potrero con sobre pastoreo una finca de una población rural llamada Guaidima del municipio Jacura del Estado Falcón. Aunque la influenza del ser humano es muy notable en este caso, la presencia de éste árbol de Araguaney ( Tabebuia chrysantha )me indica la importancia de un árbol o de árboles en los potreros.

El Flanboyan( Delonix regia) posee flores grandes de llamativa tonalidad; es que el color anaranjando de sus flores lo hace también un árbol atractivo, en mi experiencia personal recuerdo que era muy nombrado por mis profesores de botánica además estudiamos su taxonomía y botánica, es por ello que en el primer momento que lo ví decidí tomarles fotografías, el mismo se encuentra en una granja ubicada al norte del estado Lara.
Este árbol al igual que las demás fabaceas producen vainas( leñosas) en dónde se desarrollan las semillas. Por otro lado he leído literaturas que dicen que esté árbol es originario de Madagascar dónde se encuentra en peligro de extinción.

Los árboles tienen gran significación, ya que no sólo purifican el aire y protegen los sistemas hídricos, también enfrían el ambiente.
El Araguaney es uno de mis árbol favoritos, mi hija Amanda les llama Aguarananey jeje es muy parecido al Curari, la diferencia está en hojas y en qué este último florece todo el año a diferencia del Araguaney.
