When reading old diaries draws attention as to how reliant many are on this estuary.

And I am sure those farmers have complained and asked for help but because the estuary is not their property, they cant do anything themselves...

Locals living on estuary have been there for generations, development in sugar and mining has washed sediment down, no this time they really have problems they are not sure how to overcome.

Rural folk are very different up there to town or city dwellers, seldom request assistance trying to live as trained by the elders.

Oh dear. That is problematic...
