Let’s Crochet Couches and Throw Pillows

Hello everyone, I’m here today to share with you all these couches and throw pillows I made. So we had these couches since I was a kid and then suddenly my mom decided to change them oneday and I really didn’t like the idea but then I had no say. She said it was her husband’s house which means she can do whatever she wants so I should also marry and go and do whatever I want in my husband’s house, can you imagine guys?haha.

Anyway, I just decided to make my own version of them. I plan on using these little stuff I crochet to decorate my apartment.
I spent about 2 hours on each couch and that’s because I used single crochets. We all know how long it takes to make single crochets.

Materials I used:
Leftover yarns
1.60mm crochet hook
Cotton wool
Sewing needle

Procedure
I started by making the seat cushion. It was a little tricky at first but I went with the box structure. I actually dismantled a box( in my mind) to see how it would look like and then I used that structure to crochet the cushion seat. I made 9 chains and then 4 rows of single crochets. I then made 17 additional chains and then added 8 single crochets and then another 4 rows of single crochets.

I then brought them together to make the cushion seat. I sewed them with the needle and yarn and then whiles sewing it, I stuffed it with cotton wool.

I moved on to the back and armrest. Since they were together, I made 25 chains and then added about 31 rows of single crochet but then in back loop. It’s basically crocheting enough to cover the back and arm rest.

After that, I folded it into two to give it the thickness it’s supposed to have. I then attached it the cushion seat and that was it, I was done.

For the throw pillows, I just made 5 chains ans built on it with 6 rows of half double crochet. I then used the needle and yarn to sew the sides together whiles filling the pillow with cotton wool as well.

I was now done with the couches and throw pillows and then I remembered that I need to add a lamp and I did. Let me know if you want to know how I made the lamp. I remembered I made a coaster for my brother some weeks ago so I went for it and used it as a gigantic carpet.

I know I always say it is fun crocheting something but believe me when I say this was very much more fun than other projects I’ve done. Do you think we should make a miniature living room?
Anyway, thank you all for your time.

NB: colour of the first couch is peach

Hello friend, your furniture is incredible, the truth is that the environment looks very cozy, the only thing missing is the TV, it looks like a hall to play with dolls, it shows that you are a very creative and persistent girl in what you propose, congratulations, everything is very beautiful.

Alright, then I’m making a tv next
Thank you Mari

We all know how long it takes to make single crochets.

Truly it is😂😞

I'll ask the same question again...

You counted the stitches? 😂😂

Truly it’s what?🤣
Do you even know what it is

You insult me 😞

Now who is trying to recreate the couches in my room😁 these are very cute!! How do you even come up with all these creative ideas, please share the secret.

😂😂😂😂

This work is incredible!!! 😲😲I love how everything looks!!😍 It gives me some ideas, like one day doing this for a Barbie house.

Thank you

When I finally build my house, I will give the contract of interior deco my love 😘

Awww, can’t wait

Oh God, maybe it's because of the cultural difference, but how cruel your mom was to you! I think she could have been nicer to you, you were a child :( But hey! These are very very beautiful and the great thing about growing up is that we can be free and heal the inner child by making beautiful things like these! 🙏 💜 💜 💜

Thank you ☺️
