Esta es una camisa elegante clásica que hice hace unos años para un concierto. También la armé para practicar el tipo de manga de princesa que había visto en ese tiempo, acá abajo te dejo el tutorial donde lo expliqué.
Hello hivers and sewing lovers, today I bring you a super easy and quick tutorial, especially for those who are just starting in sewing. This is a classic elegant shirt that I made a few years ago for a concert. I also made it to practice the kind of princess sleeve I had seen at that time, here below is the tutorial where I explained it.
Manga Princesa/Princess Sleeve
El primer paso fue: separar las mangas con ayuda de un corta costura, con mucho cuidado, para no maltratar la blusa en general. Una vez separadas las piezas, con ayuda de una tijera, fui limpiando los bordes de las sisas, quitando los excedentes de hilos y tela, luego preparé la máquina de coser para el siguiente paso.
The first step was to separate the sleeves with the help of a seam ripper, very carefully, so as not to damage the blouse in general. Once the pieces were separated, with the help of a pair of scissors, I cleaned the edges of the armholes, removing the excess threads and fabric, then I prepared the sewing machine for the next step.
Cómo es una tela Sofía, elasticada y quiero prolijar los bordes, apreté la tensión de la costura y lleve a la puntada semejante a la overlock, fue así como por todo el borde de ambas sisas (donde estaban pegadas las mangas) pase la costura, haciendo un tipo de limpieza y afinamiento de esas partes.
As it is a Sofia fabric, elastic and I want to neaten the edges, I tightened the tension of the seam and took to the stitch similar to the overlock, so that was how the entire edge of both armholes (where the sleeves were sewn) pass the seam, making a kind of cleaning and refining of those parts.
Luego, ajusté la máquina de coser para una puntada recta con tensión con la misma tensión anterior. Y paso a paso, fuí haciendo un dobladillo, usando como marca el borde de la costura anterior. Finalmente limpie los excesos de hilos y telas, para luego planchar y así asentar la costura, dándole un acabado más profesional.
Then I set the sewing machine for a straight stitch with tension with the same tension as before. And step by step, I made a hem, using the edge of the previous seam as a mark. Finally, I cleaned up the excess threads and fabrics, and then ironed the seam, giving it a more professional finish.
