Muy buen día hivers y amantes de las costuras, hoy aparto los lazos para entregarme a Halloween, y por supuesto les traigo el tutorial para hacer este fabuloso bolso calabaza para salir por tus dulces en esta noche de brujas. Como ya saben en Halloween es muy común esta figura, no solo por su historia de Jack la linterna, también porque este vegetal está en temporada para la fecha y es muy fácil de hacerla en cualquier material, como en este caso.

Good morning hivers and sewing lovers, today I put aside the bows to give myself to Halloween, and of course I bring you the tutorial to make this fabulous pumpkin bag to go out for your candy on this night of witches. As you know, Halloween is very common with this figure, not only for its history of Jack the Lantern, also because this vegetable is in season for the date and is very easy to make in any material, as in this case.

Los materiales para hacer este bolso calabaza halloween son: fieltro del color naranja, tela pop para el rostro y asa, hilo que haga contraste con la tela, así tu diseño resalta más, aguja, máquina, lápiz, tijera, cierre mágico y mucho cariño. Para empezar puedes hacer el patrón primero en papel, pero yo lo hice directamente en la tela, trazando con el lápiz las medidas y redondeando uno de los extremos que es la tapa del bolso, también, cortas el asa a medida de la mano, los triángulos para los ojos, la sonrisa y nariz, como ven son formas geométricas básicas.

The materials to make this Halloween pumpkin bag are: orange felt, pop fabric for the face and handle, thread that contrasts with the fabric, so your design stands out more, needle, machine, pencil, scissors, magic zipper and lots of love. To start you can make the pattern first on paper, but I did it directly on the fabric, tracing with the pencil the measurements and rounding one of the ends which is the lid of the bag, also, cut the handle to the size of the hand, the triangles for the eyes, the smile and nose, as you can see they are basic geometric shapes.

Una vez con todas las piezas cortadas, vamos con la pieza principal, usamos una costura grande en zig zag, para cerrar y decorar el bolso por todo el alrededor. Luego vamos con el asa, de igual forma, cerramos y decoramos con la misma costura como indica la foto. Acto seguido, marcamos el centro de la parte trasera del bolso calabaza halloween, es allí donde se cose el asa como indica la imagen, también, pasamos una costura recta en las esquinas inferiores, para darle mayor amplitud al bolso.

Once all the pieces are cut, we go with the main piece, we use a big zig zag stitch to close and decorate the bag all around. Then we go with the handle, in the same way, we close and decorate with the same seam as shown in the picture. Then, we mark the center of the back of the pumpkin Halloween bag, it is there where the handle is sewn as shown in the picture, also, we sew a straight seam in the lower corners, to give more amplitude to the bag.
