My needlework starts at new apartment

Hello to Needlework Monday! I'm sooooo happy to be back here and also on Hive.blog after moving in/out apartments 😊

After we moved in to the new apartment, I started my needlework from repair. I repaired my daughter's pant with a bird appliqué.

My Needlework Wednesday

Then I moved on my partner's pant. It is a good old pant I remember he was wearing around the time we met more than 10 years ago. It had holes in the inner pockets. I repaired one of them once but seems keys he keeps in there make the the fabric worn out.

I'm happy to see the pant is repaired. I notice the good old pant becomes old. I wish it stays with my partner for few more years.

My next project will be upholstering two chairs. I did two already almost three years ago and have been lazy for last years 😅

I found other two broken chairs when we moved out from our old apartment. Now it's time to repair them.

Happy Needlework Monday to all! I look forward to sew a dress after I finish repair projects.

無事新しい家に移ってミシンを使えるようになって、壊れたものをどんどん直しています。子どものズボン、相方のズボン、椅子・・・・・・・・修理を終えて夏用のワンピースを縫うのが楽しみです。

いい一週間になりますように!

I am happy your move is completed and you could set up your sewing space. I hope you new home will soon be comfortable and feel like “home”. The sewing space is lovely and I could detect some bread baking books 😍
I am always amazed how fearless you are in tackling the divers projects like upholstery, mending, knitting etc. It is so motivating to see that good things can be done with enough interest and energy.
Curious as I am … did I remember right that you now have a garden?

Ja it becomes more and more comfortable day by day. Still boxes are in rooms though (that's Umziehen!) 😂

Unfortunately I don't have a large garden. I only have a small but really sunny balcony. And I'm allowed to maintain four plant containers (a kind of Hochbete) at a market hall where you visited me. So I'll see how my new gardening environment works. I look forward to experimenting 😁

Now I'm thinking about what to plant in the planters ...

O sigh... boxes.... I vividly remember them. I hope you will find time to unpack them.
ANd a sunny balcony is lovely too. I often miss this in our apartment (our garden is wonderful, but when I have headaches I cannot walk so far, so a balcony would be nice) I hope yours is big enough for some veggies and flowers.
And the Hochbeete in front of the market sound like an interesting project. Will you work on them alone or with a group of people?
(The profile photo is from an art project we made which was named "the monkeys are out to kill you" and i was a monkey :-DDDD)

And you have a nice new profile picture 👍

Congratulations to you and your family on the new apartment, it kind off looks great,
And you did well in helping everyone repair their torn cloth.

Thanks @vickoly! Haha, repair is my hobby. I'm happy to see old items revive 😊

thats good, you are welcome
