Hey there, my dear hivers! Iām back, and Iām back with new crochet creations. Before I proceed with the story of how I made these cuties, Iād like to thank chubbiesbyash on YouTube for her amazing designs and her creation of the patterns of this Snoopy and fox that I made.
I would like to ask you, my dear readers, something. Do you think these guys are cute? From the looks of it, I truly think they are. Thatās just my opinion. š¤
Itās a new year, everyone. As it begins, I really liked to surprise myself by being productive. Iām a creative girly; when I get the chance to make it, I make sure to make it and finish it. Being a senior in high school surely made it difficult for me to indulge in my hobbies, let alone my wants to make and crochet stuff.
The Snoopy
The Snoopy amigurumi, I made that one as a present for my friend. Sheās a very close friend of mine! Sheās about to turn 18 soon, so her upcoming birthday is quite special for her.
I wanted to make a gift that is connected to her. And I wanted my gift to be handmade to make it more personal and maybe cuter. Anyway, sheās the type of person that really LOVES Snoopy. So I decided to make an amigurumi Snoopy for her š.
At first I didnāt expect the plushie to be that big. Itās almost 6 inches. Yes, I know it doesnāt sound that big, but I thought that it would only be at least 3-4 inches high, hehe. But I used a 5.5 mm crochet hook, and Iām so happy about the results š
If you see and read this blog, Raine, do not tell her about this lolll. And yes, dear bloggers, my friendās birthday is still a few weeks away, so I had plenty of time to make it.
The Fox
Actually, the Fox was a gift from my brother to one of his friends. He was on a hunt for what he wanted to give his friends. One of them got a miniature car, and another got a shirt. But after the long hunt, my brother decided to commission me and make him an amigurumi. At first, he decided that he wanted me to make a panda. But at the last minute, when I was about to make the panda amigurumi, he decided that he wanted me to make a fox instead. š
While I was looking for a tutorial on YouTube, I found one that my brother liked, so I clicked the video. When I watched and listened to the video, I couldn't help but hear a familiar voice. The way she says the word āstitchā was so distinct (and cute). I concluded that it was the same channel as the Snoopy one, and I was kind of amazed and impressed at the same time because of the coincidence lol. It was amazing how she can make these patterns; I really look up to her, to be honest.
The Lily Flower
Another birthday present, the lily flower is a gift for a good friend of mine. The ONE and ONLY mayor! In our school, thatās what we call our class president (to picture out the ranking lol).
The purple lily represents royalty, elegance, and spirituality. I think that really suits her. Sheās our class leader; she leads us with a strong heart. She deals with disputes with much elegance. From the passion I see from her when she does her duties, I see a spirit that refuses to die out. Sheās the best mayor that one could ever ask for.
As the class treasurer, I will continue to help her out whenever I can. š
