Today is another great day for every member of this community as I will be sharing some experiences being gathered so far about how a needle worker can comfortably manage his/her health from the workplace. These experiences are what a medical doctor shared with me when I was sick some days ago and I have put them into practice.
After a customer demanded a crocheted slipper before I closed my shoemaking office yesterday, we bargained for the price, and after she agreed to come today being Friday to have the yarn made crocheted slipper.
When I started making the slipper, I decided to practice what a medical doctor told me about health management for needleworkers which I will be stated below and I believe it will be of good help to every member of the community and some related ones.
Routine work among workers: I noticed that most needleworkers got tired from their workplace because they tried to do the whole work by themselves which might be a result of not being capable to pay their workers or having fear of not getting the accurate job done just like how I used to do but today, I shared the yarn needlework among my workers than I used to be to enable me to have some fitness to do more works tomorrow and in the future.
Having more tools: I also noticed that most needleworkers lack enough tools to carry out some of their yarn needles works which as a result of it, they try forcing themselves in using one tool to do what another is supposed to do which may cause injury along the process of crocheting any work. Well, I have got more tools that made today’s yarn crocheting easier.
Before I started crocheting the yarn slipper for my customer, I make sure that every of my needleworker that was assisting me with the yarn crocheted slipper understood the type of slipper that I was making for my customer to avoid giving me double work because I used to face this challenge before.
When I was cutting the leather for the yarn-crocheted slipper for my customer, I applied more caution by avoiding talking with my team/workers in order to make me not injure myself with the sharp scissors being used.
During the process of crocheting the slipper for my customer today, I also applied more caution and focus than before to avoid mistakes and also avoid getting injuries on my hands with the yarn pin/needle.
The level of bending head, neck, and waist between me and my team reduced because of what I was told by a doctor. I have applied to make some exercises after a particular yarn-made slipper is achieved.
I have also today made a resting hour schedule within the working days to enable me and my workers to avoid having much stress from our crocheting work.
Material and tools used for the making of the yarn crocheted slipper are listed below:
Black and lemon green yarn materials were used.
Black leather was used.
A black sole was also used.
Yarn pin and needle were used.
I used sharp scissors.
I also applied gum.
I also used a hammer.
Procedures used in crocheting the slipper:
I make sure that the materials are available and complete.
I make sure that the type, size, and color of the yarn slipper to be crocheted are ascertained.
I took enough time to take the proper measurements of the yarn slipper to be crocheted on leather.
I cut the measured leather to be crocheted.
I used a pinpointer to open round the leather that I just cut for easy crocheting of the slipper.
I started my crocheting using the yarn material with the leather I cut.
I sandpapered the sole and the leather crocheted with.
I placed the sole and the crocheted leather under the sun to dry.
I fixed the yarn-crocheted slipper the way it was supposed to look at the final stage.
Wow weldone. I have to confess this is really beautiful and I love the finishing. So nice. Thanks for sharing

Beautifully done @apunawu. I also tried making a crocheted slipper for my customer's baby. But I covered the whole sole with crochet. Anyway, your work is very neat. Thanks for sharing it and God bless.
What were you doing that you forgot and covered the baby's crochet wear you were doing? Thanks for reading and loving it.
