Greetings and blessings, my dear needle friends. I hope you are doing very well with health and wellness. I wish with all my heart that this is a week full of inspiration, creativity and many projects.
For this Needle Monday I want to share with you a new project I have in my hands, made with grannys. It is a challenge that I have set myself and, like any challenge, it has brought some difficulties that I have been overcoming step by step. I am excited to see how it is taking shape, because each knitted granny is a small achievement that brings me closer to the final result.
Saludos y bendiciones, mis queridas amigas de las agujas. Espero que estén muy bien con salud y bienestar. Deseo de todo corazón que esta sea una semana llena de inspiración, creatividad y muchos proyectos.
Para este lunes de agujas quiero compartir con ustedes un nuevo proyecto que tengo entre manos, hecho con grannys. Es un reto que me he propuesto y, como todo reto, ha traído algunas dificultades que he ido superando paso a paso. Me emociona ver cómo va tomando forma, porque cada granny tejido es un pequeño logro que me acerca más al resultado final.
At the moment, I have two projects going on. The first is this sweater for my daughter, made with grannys, and the second is a scarf knitted with two needles. I confess that with the scarf I've been a little frustrated. Two-needle knitting is a new technique for me, and I had to unknit several times as I realized some mistakes. Despite the patience and concentration it requires, I'm not giving up. I'm slower, yes, but every stitch well done is a learning experience.
On the other hand, with the granny sweater I'm further ahead. I have already knit more than 30 grannys and I am in the knitting phase. However, at this point I realize that I still have about 20 more to go to complete the sleeves. Although the work is not finished, seeing the colors and textures coming together motivates me to keep going.
I'm enjoying the process, even with its difficulties. There is no rush, just the pleasure of knitting and learning along the way.

En este momento, tengo dos proyectos en marcha. El primero es este suéter para mi hija, elaborado con grannys, y el segundo es una bufanda tejida con dos agujas. Confieso que con la bufanda me he sentido un poco frustrada. El tejido con dos agujas es una técnica nueva para mí, y he tenido que destejer varias veces al darme cuenta de algunos errores. A pesar de la paciencia y la concentración que requiere, no me doy por vencida. Voy más lenta, sí, pero cada punto bien hecho es un aprendizaje.
Por otro lado, con el suéter de grannys voy más adelantada. Ya he tejido más de 30 grannys y estoy en la fase de armado. Sin embargo, en este punto me doy cuenta de que aún faltan unos 20 más para completar las mangas. Aunque el trabajo no está terminado, ver los colores y texturas juntándose me motiva a seguir adelante.
Estoy disfrutando del proceso, incluso con sus dificultades. No hay prisa, solo el placer de tejer y aprender en el camino.
