On this needle Monday, taking advantage of the fact that it is still the month of Halloween celebration in many countries and here in Colombia they also celebrate it, I bring you more knitted pumpkins, but now with 100% acrylic yarn and in vibrant colors like orange and yellow.
Knitting these pumpkins has been highly addictive and I have not stopped knitting them. The pattern is quite simple and quick to knit. In this post of the jute knit pumpkin I made a few days ago, I explained the pattern to follow.

En este lunes de agujas, aprovechando que todavía es el mes de la celebración de Halloween en muchos países y aquí en Colombia también lo celebran, les traigo más calabazas tejidas, pero ahora con hilo 100% acrílico y de colores tan vibrantes como el naranja y el amarillo.
Tejer esta calabazas ha sido altamente adictivo y no he parado de tejerlas. El patrón es bastante sencillo y rápido de tejer. En esta publicación de la calabaza tejida con yute que hice hace unos días, les expliqué el patrón a seguir.

Since I finished knitting the jute pumpkin, I couldn't resist and went out to buy orange and yellow yarn to continue knitting. I have already knitted several pumpkins, among them the ones I show you today: a big orange pumpkin, a medium one and three small ones, one of them with yellow yarn that I loved.
As I said, I have knitted them in different sizes. For this, you just have to take into account that the chain stitch base is the width and the length should be twice the width. In the second round, we knit low stitches in the back strand of the chain stitches and the last stitch we knit inside the whole chain stitch.
I knit all these pumpkins in my spare time in the store, sometimes in front of the customers already served, who have been the first to admire my work and fall in love with them. I am thinking of giving some to our most regular customers at the end of the month as a special Halloween gift.
Desde que terminé de tejer la calabaza de yute, no me resistí y salir a comprar hilos anaranjados y amarillos para seguir tejiendo. Ya he tejido varias calabazas, entre ellas las que les muestro hoy: una calabaza naranja grande, una mediana y tres pequeñas, una de ellas con hilo amarillo que me encantó.
Como les comento, las he tejido de diferentes tamaños. Para esto, solo hay que tomar en cuenta que la base de cadenetas es el ancho y el largo debe ser el doble del ancho. En la segunda vuelta, tejemos puntos bajos en la hebra de atrás de las cadenetas y el último punto lo tejemos dentro de la cadeneta completa.
Tejí todas estas calabazas en mis ratos libres en el negocio, a veces frente a los clientes ya atendidos, quienes han sido los primeros en admirar mi trabajo y enamorarse de ellas. Estoy pensando en regalar algunas a nuestros clientes más asiduos para fin de mes como un detalle especial de Halloween.
