Today I want to share with you a project that I have been working on with great love and dedication: making a sweater made with striped microdurano fabric.
For this sweater, I decided to use striped microdurano fabric. This fabric is perfect for its softness, durability, and ability to maintain its shape. Plus, the stripes give it a classic and modern touch that I love. Choose a color combination that is versatile and easy to combine with other clothes. The design of the sweater is simple but elegant, with a cut that flatters all body types. I used a basic sweater pattern, but made some modifications to it to suit my preferences. For example, I added a shirt collar and elastic cuffs for a more comfortable and secure fit.

The first step was to cut the striped micro peach fabric. I folded the fabric towards the side that has more stretch to ensure a better fit and comfort in the garment. I cut the front and back pieces of the sweater in the direction of greatest stretch. The sleeves were also cut in the direction of greatest stretch to allow for a comfortable fit on the arms. For the collar, I cut the fabric in the direction of least stretch, ensuring it kept its original shape.

I placed the front and back with the right sides of the fabric facing each other. I used pins to attach the shoulder sections. I sewed the shoulders with a straight stitch on the sewing machine, reinforcing the seams for durability.

Then, I proceeded to join the sleeves. I placed the sleeves with the right side of the fabric facing the body of the sweater, making sure to line up the seams. I used pins to attach the sleeves to the armholes. I sewed the sleeves with a straight stitch, paying special attention to the curve of the armhole to avoid wrinkles.

The next step was to sew the collar. I took the collar piece, which was cut in the direction of least stretch, and folded it in half with the right sides of the fabric facing each other. I used pins to attach the collar to the neckline of the body of the sweater, making sure it was aligned properly. I sewed the collar with a straight stitch, making sure it was tight and wrinkle-free. Once the sewing was finished, I gave it a final once-over with the iron so that all the seams were well defined and the garment had a flawless appearance. Plus, I went over every detail to make sure everything was perfect.

I am very satisfied with the final result of this sweater. The striped microdurano fabric is not only comfortable, but also adds a special touch to the garment.
