La confección de un sujetador o top crop es un proceso creativo y gratificante que permite personalizar una prenda única y cómoda. A través de pasos meticulosos, desde la preparación de la tela hasta la colocación de la pretina, se logra un resultado final que no solo es estéticamente agradable, sino también funcional.Este proyecto no solo fomenta habilidades de costura, sino que también brinda la oportunidad de experimentar con diferentes telas y diseños. • Paso nro 1

Primero, doblé la tela siempre hacia el elástico en los lados. Colocando el patrón, corté la pieza dos veces, ya que quería que el sujetador o top quedara doble.Luego, realicé el mismo procedimiento con la parte trasera: coloqué la tela en doble capa y procedí a cortar. Después, corté la pretina que se colocará debajo de los senos y, del mismo ancho, corté varios sesgos para las tiras.

First, I folded the fabric always towards the elastic on the sides. Placing the pattern, I cut the piece twice, since I wanted the bra or top to be double. Then, I did the same procedure with the back: I placed the fabric in a double layer and proceeded to cut. Afterwards, I cut the waistband that will be placed under the breasts and, of the same width, I cut several bias strips for the straps.

Con todas las piezas cortadas y organizadas, estaba lista para coser. Para esto, utilicé dos máquinas: la overlock y la máquina recta.Coloqué las dos piezas delanteras juntas y la trasera, y cosí por los costados.

A continuación, cosí el sesgo uniendo las dos piezas delanteras y cerré el sesgo.

Para crear el fruncido en la parte delantera, utilicé un ganchillo para sacar la punta de las tiras a través de dos pequeños huequitos que hice. Saqué las dos puntas y procedí a coser por el medio, teniendo cuidado de no pisar las tiras con la costura. Esta costura sirvió como guía. Luego, cosí a los lados y ajusté los tirantes para que quedaran fruncidos, formando un moño o lazo.

To create the gathering at the front, I used a crochet hook to pull the ends of the straps through two small holes I made. I pulled out the two ends and proceeded to sew down the middle, being careful not to step on the straps with the seam. This seam served as a guide.
