It's so good to be here again today to share with you one of my recent design of a straight gown with an off shoulder on one side and a full shoulder on the other side of hand.

In this season we are, everyone needs an outfit that will not cause more heat for them in this hot weather, so we always look out for a sleeveless top or one with a small sleeve so as to allow fresh air to the body, the weather here is so hot that one can possibly go naked if possible.

Though I only have few pictures of the sewing process cause there was no power supply for me to charge my phone to take pictures at the time of cutting and sewing, it was after the sewing process was done with a local iron and completed that I was opportuned to take the final pictures

After the upper bodice pattern was drafted on a brown paper, I used my pencil to trace out the neckline design I wanted on the front and back bodice which was cut out and placed on the satin material I used for the upper bodice to cut out same shape.

The lower part of a straight gown was cut out and sewn together to the upper bodice that was set aside after adding interfacing and lining to the upper bodice and this is what I finally achieved after all the processes were neatly done.

Looking at this, it is just too simple for me, I'm thinking of adding some little creative design to it as I have more than 1 yard of leftover from the Ankara fabric.
