Hello everyone! Greetings to all my NEEDLEWORK FAMILY, have a blessed day to all, this is my second post here in this community, i want to share this a very useful things that we used in our home, I learned this from my best friend. A rag or doormat transforms into a table mat for my Chromebook.
A rainy afternoon while I was sorting my fabric scraps an idea popped into my head, I’d always wanted to make a useful out of fabric scraps. Not only did I make something functional, but I had also found a new way to use it in a way that was both practical and aesthetically pleasing. It was a reminder that creativity can turn the simplest things into something special and that even an old rag, with a little care and imagination, could be transformed into something that added a touch of charm to my everyday life. I choose the color white, red, black, dark blue for my table mat.
Materials:
Frame with 164 nails
Fabrics cut into strips
Scissor
Hook
Procedure or Steps for waeving:
Pierce the tip of the nail into the fabric then pulls the fabric and twist it into the opposite nail.
Turn it back then twist again into the opposite nail until all the nails are filled.
You can repeat the process.
Add another color for the next file of fabric and repeat the process.
Then tied another color until all nails are filled with fabric.
Then waeve the fabrics until the end then tied to the edge of the fabrics.
Use hook to lock the edge of the fabric.
Twist the fabric by using the hook until the last and insert then twist the tips of the fabric
Done
This is a very simple way of waeving this kind of rag, a handmade rag, it wasn’t just the mouse that found a home there. My laptop, which had been sitting precariously on a basic desk mat, was soon comfortably perched on top of the rag. The colors from the fabric seemed to brighten up the entire space, giving my workspace a more personalized and warmer feel.
Thank you very much to all NEEDLEWORKERS FAMILY who take time and engage my post. I appreciate each everyone of you!!!
