Dearest Needleworking Friends!
I missed the first Monday in a loong time, last week, as I was so very deep in joy, love and catharsis with my new/ old Beloved @vincentnijman , and had not been working on much sewing-related in a good fortnight… Having found our feet and our rhythm after around 16 days, I also had some nice insights about my needleworking creative process to share with you all:
my travelling outfit is coming together, for our exodus from Italy
There have been such myriad extraordinary coincidences in my meeting my Soulmate recently, that it didn’t surprise me much to find that the immense piles of garments accumulated this past couple of years also contained the perfect pieces to compliment Vincent and his new, up-levelled Beingness… We spent multiple hours this week exploring various boxes and possible combinations… and are settling on a few garments that can be adapted for his extremely-fine manly form.
Alongside this, I’m coming head-to-head (again!) with my 50c-stall compulsion, in the light of imminently moving dimensions/ home/ country: the wall of clothing has to come down, the boxes and bags have to be restructured, and I have to decide what I’m taking on the road with me.
I have new perspective on e v e r y t h i n g (I’ll be writing and podcasting about the twin flame journey very soon!) and this merges into my attitude to sewing; I feel more confident than ever, peace-full and excited, and most importantly FREEEEEE to make.
I’m getting a ton of revelation too about my relationship with Guardia Sanframondi, and how co-creative (or not) it has been over the past 15 years: it is a shock to my system to have it revealed what I’ve been subjected to here – and how this has gotten in the way of my vital creative flow.
To cut a very long story short, Vincent’s presence in the centre of my life now, is stabilising my alchemical powers and allowing me to align my energy much better: less ego and tension, none of the limitation that Guardia was bringing to how I will develop my sewing passion, melding daily rhythms and households together... I have no idea where we are going, but I know that it all makes sense and will be successful, because it just Feels Right, expansive, liberating. All things fall into place under Natural Law, including our destined Cosmic partnerships.
A new adventure, the release of old things – even throwing some old clothing out! A big black plastic sack full of synthetic items that I’d prefer not to work with. The arranging of all precious stored items onto nails in the wall, bamboo poles and improvised hanging rails, suitcases and crates. The very subtle selection of choice items that are going to be reconstructed into new things, Vincent’s groovy new wardrobe that needs attention, and my own new clothing for my new life… Quite a lot to pull together in the next week or two, before we get on a Grimaldi ferry out of Italy!
