Vivo in Italia e adoro lavorare ad uncinetto. Non sono molto brava ad inventare, quindi lavoro seguendo schemi e istruzioni realizzate da altri e trovate su riviste, social o internet.
Vorrei presentarvi oggi un portachiavi a forma di volpe che ho realizzato seguendo un tutorial su youtube
With this my first post, I would like to introduce myself to the entire Needleworkonmonday community.
I live in Italy and I love to crochet. I'm not very good at inventing, so I work following patterns and instructions made by others and found on magazines, social or internet.
I would like to introduce you today a fox shaped keychain that I made following a youtube tutorial

- Gomitoli in cotone nei colori nero, bianco e arancione
- Imbottitura di cuscini
- Catenella portachiavi
- Uncinetto numero 3
- Marcapunti
- Ago con cruna grossa
Material used and tools
- Cotton balls in the colors black, white and orange
- Pillow stuffing
- Key chain
- Crochet hook number 3
- Stitch marker
- Needle with large eye
Il mio lavoro è iniziato da un semplice anello magico ed ho proseguito la creazione della testa a maglia bassa con aumenti e diminuzioni fino a creare la palla che forma la testa. Ho imbottito e, senza staccare il lavoro ho proseguito per formare il corpo della volpe.
Con lo stesso metodo ho creato la coda della volpe e le orecchie. Queste ultime non hanno avuto bisogno di imbottitura vista la dimensione ridotta. Nel tutorial la volpe aveva anche le zampine anteriori. Non mi risultava gradevole il risultato con quelle e, di conseguenza, non le ho create.
a questo punto rimaneva solamente da attaccare le varie parti della volpe.
Using the same method, I created the fox's tail and ears. The latter did not need stuffing due to the small size. In the tutorial the fox also had front paws. I did not like the result with those and, therefore, I did not create them.
At this point it remained only to attach the various parts of the fox.

I too started out just following patterns from youtube and everywhere else I can find until I found the groove in slowly making my own. I like this fox particularly, reminds me of the fox from The Little Prince.
