At this point I am thinking of making this a really unique series. Let's say “Part 1 of me trying unique head pieces”
I am rather fascinated by headpieces I love clothes and bags and shoes and every other fashion item you could think of naming in your head right now but there's this thing about head wear.
Some of you have noticed that whenever I have the time to make thing for myself ots mostly head wears and not tops or skirts and today the miracle as I would love to call it happened again.I made a durag!!! I am so excited.
And yes I was series about the series. I want to explore the different patterns of head pieces I can find so I'll call this Part 1 of TUHP (trying unique head pieces) that's a catchy name
“TURP” so there's this durag video that has been trending where she wraps her durag like a head scarf and it looked so pretty.
As I matter of fact I had to find her tutorial in particular so I could get the same outcome as she did and I am proud of myself.
I got my yarns and I got started. I didn't want to use pink it'll be too girly and I didn't want just black since everyone says my wardrobe looks like a ghost closet. So I decided tonplay with the two colors a bit.
When I blended it I expected a nice outcome but what I got was just perfect. So I went on with it. Although the yarn she used was way thicker than mine. She did ten rows and got half of the width and I did 20 to get mine.
I had to duplicate it since it needed two sides and once I was done I was giggling because why not its a durag guys. Once I finished it up it was time for joining.
This is more like the part of any project that requires patience because once you miss one your project starts to look like it was hit by a “miscalculation bus”
I was soon done with that and I had to hide the edges that were sticking out and since I was switching colors there were a lot. Took a few minutes but it was done and dusted
All that was left was to take pictures and share it with you guys. I'm still very excited I wore it for a while during the day and I love how my colors turned out. Was more beautiful and it brought out that unique pattern on the head.
I am hoping someone tries this out and prolly tags me so I can see. It'll look so great on them.
I'm happy you read through all my blabbing (got this one from @tengolotodo 😅😅😅 bye byeee
