En el proyecto de hoy quiero mostrarles, como hice una cartera de tela de dril, es una tela ideal para estos bolsos o cartera ya que es bastante confortable a la forma o diseño que se desee hacer. Es como una tela de jean, asi que empiezo con mi paso a paso al proyecto.

In today's project I want to show you how I made a denim wallet, it is an ideal fabric for these bags or wallet as it is quite comfortable to the shape or design you want to make. It is like a denim fabric, so I start with my step by step to the project.

Empiezo primero con el diseño como lo queria.
Voy haciendo mi patron, y luego sacando y cortando las piezas necesarias para esta cartera, que es grande.

I start first with the design as I wanted it.
I'm making my pattern, and then taking out and cutting the necessary pieces for this wallet, which is large.

Saco las dos piezas principales, que son el frente y la parte posterior del bolso con medidas de 28cm de alto por 36cm de ancho. A l mismo tiempo tambien saco las del forro del mismo tamaño. En las esquinas lo hice con un corte curvo.

I take out the two main pieces, which are the front and the back of the bag measuring 28cm high by 36cm wide. At the same time I also take out the lining pieces of the same size. In the corners I did it with a curved cut.

La parte del frente la divido en tres partes iguales y corto, porque entre esos espacios voy a colocar la tela estampada, la cual corte dos rectangulos de 12cm de ancho por 28cm de alto.

I divide the front part into three equal parts and cut it, because between those spaces I am going to place the printed fabric, which I cut two rectangles of 12cm wide by 28cm high.

Coso a maquina estas partes y le hago unos dobles por dentro, y voy uniendo nuevamente la tela roja y la otra quedara por dentro, que solo se va a la hora de usar la cartera.

I machine sew these parts and make some folds on the inside, and I join the red fabric again and the other one will be left on the inside, which only goes away when it's time to use the wallet.

Ahora bien, con la tela de forro les hagos unos bolsillos, cortando unos rectangulo de 28cm de alto por 20cm de ancho, y le pegue un cierre magico, elotro bolsillo es mas pequeño para guardar el celular.

Now, with the lining fabric I made some pockets, cutting a rectangle of 28cm high by 20cm wide, and I glued a magic zipper, the other pocket is smaller to keep the cell phone.

Con la tira larga de estampado, pego el cierre, y le hago la sobre costura.
Y con la otra tira larga y su forro la pego en la tira donde esta el cierre, tomando en cuenta la medida exacta del ancho y largo del bolso, asi quedara justa a la hora de coserla sin sobrar o faltar tela.

With the long strip of pattern, I glue the zipper, and make the overlock seam.
And with the other long strip and its lining I glue it on the strip where the zipper is, taking into account the exact width and length of the bag, so it will be just right when sewing it without surplus or missing fabric.

Antes de pegarla, primero le pego sobre esta tira, los bolsillos laterales, que hice y en donde le pegue la elastica.
Ubico la altura de los costados, donde voy a coserla.

Before I glue it, I first glue the side pockets I made and where I glued the elastic on this strip.
I locate the height of the sides, where I am going to sew it.

Con otras tiras largas que saque cuatro, 2 de la tela roja y 2 de la estampada, de 60cm de largo por 5cm de ancho, para las asas de la cartera. Las cosos, y ubico en la cartera.

With other long strips that I took out four, 2 of the red fabric and 2 of the printed one, 60cm long by 5cm wide, for the handles of the purse. I sew them, and place them in the bag.

Una vez teniendo esta partes listas, entonces procedo a coser la tira grande que tiene el cierre, y la que va unir las dos partes, prenso primero un lado con los alfileres, y coso. Luego el otro lado.

Once I have these parts ready, then I proceed to sew the big strip that has the zipper, and the one that will join the two parts, I first pin one side with the pins, and sew. Then the other side.

Para que la costura quede limpia, le pego un sesgo, o bis y lo saco de la tela estampada, y asi quedo por dentro la cartera.

To make the seam clean, I stick a bias binding, or bis and take it out of the printed fabric, and that's how the inside of the wallet looks like.

Ahora bien listo esta bella cartera, o bolso, ya que es grande ideal para llevar muchas cosas que a veces guardamos, bien sea, carpetas, ropa, lo que queramos ya que es grande.

Now ready this beautiful wallet, or purse, as it is large ideal for carrying many things that sometimes we keep, either, folders, clothes, whatever we want because it is large.
