Adding structure and shape to a formal dress can be complicated--or can be as simple as adding some bra cups. This dress has a fitted waistline and midriff, so the addition of sewn-in push-up bra cups made it possible for the wearer to go without a separate bra.
Cups can be purchased singly or in bulk at tailor/dressmaker suppliers. My favorite for prices and selection is WAWAK. The bridal shop I work for orders from them. I also order from them for my home studio. Bra cups are available in a variety of styles and colors. Choose white or black for dresses in those colors or choose beige or mocha to blend with skin tones. Cups are tacked to the dress lining at several points to keep them in place:
