¡Hola, espero te encuentres de maravilla!
Hi, I hope you are feeling great
Some time ago I mentioned about the topic of #patternstealing . Now I'll just say: It's better to get the "paid or free" patterns from the designers themselves.
That's exactly why I decided to crocheting this partner of Capybaras. Since I saw these little animals in amigurumi version I was sure I had to crochet them. Luckily for me, the designer Picapau published it freely for "International amigurumi day". By the way, her "live broadcast" was great... I don't know if I said it here but I know Portuguese (the Brazilian language, jaja) and the broadcast is in Portuguese.
Patrón de Capibara
As the world's largest rodent, the pattern highlights its anatomy even more. It was there that I saw a resemblance to the Guinea pig, in addition to the light color.
This is the general anatomy of Capibara. Personally, the head is a bit complicated and it took me longer than planned, I want to crocheting more Capibara!...If you are reading this, you live in Peru and you want your child to play with one of these little friends, write me with confidence, jaja.
Back from commercial breaks (jaja), the female Capybara is wearing a heart design, in this case striped hearts in elegant colors.
Yes, this pattern also comes with beach accessories (yehhh). That's why I used cheerful and fun colors. For me the beach represents more connection with nature and full freedom without limits.
Here I noticed the absence of cheeks, eyelashes and eyebrows.
Which is your favourite: male or female Capybara. I'm team male, jaja. I was even about to put braces and his michi bow on it.
I followed this pattern "as is", I just didn't crochet the cheeks (to keep my style). And I had a lot of fun adding fun colors to this partner of little animals. I encourage you to crochet it if you like Capybaras as much as I do.
¡Y eso es todo!
¡Hasta la próxima!
See you next time!.
